Palworld Wool Locations Guide

Wool is a crafting material you’ll come by early in Palworld, and you’ll need to start storing it if you want to build a Shoddy Bed or craft Cloth. Both items are pretty useful for your progression in the video game.

Where To Find Wool in Palworld

The fastest way to get Wool is to defeat or catch Lamball Pals. Later, you can also build a Ranch or come across other sheep pals from which you can get Wool. Alternatively, you can buy some from the Wandering Merchant for 100 Gold.

How to get Wool in Palworld from Pals

Step 1: Build a Primitive Workbench

First, you need to build a Primitive Workbench, which requires two units of Wood. Because you’ve barely started your journey in Palworld, the easiest way to get Wood is by picking up branches from the ground.

Also, you have to invest a point in the Technology Tab of your menu. To do so, press the Menu button, go to the Technology Tab, select the Primitive Workbench, and unlock it. Don’t forget, you get more Technology Points when you level up.

Assuming you’ve unlocked the Primitive Workbench and have the necessary Wood, follow the instructions below:

• Press Up on the Dpad of your Xbox controller, then select the Production Tab.
• Select the Primitive Workbench using the Right Stick of your controller.
• Find a place for the Workbench; you need to make sure the structure turns blue, which means you’ve found a good spot for it.
• Press X to place the structure on the ground.
• Approach the Workbench and hold X for 10 seconds to finish building it.

Step 2: Craft a Wooden Club

Now, you need a weapon to fight the pals. A Wooden Club will do fine for now. To craft the item, you need five units of Wood and invest 1 Technology point to unlock it, just like you did with the Workbench.

Once you have the materials, approach the Workbench and interact with it by pressing X. Select the Wooden Club from the list, press A, select Start Production, hold X until the weapon is finished, and pick it up by pressing X again.

Step 3: Defeat or Catch Sheep Pals

To continue, you need to find any of the following sheep pals:

• Lamball
• Kingpaca
• Cremis
• Melpaca
• Swee
• Sweepa

The first sheep pal you can encounter in the video game is the Lamball. It’s pretty easy to take down and will provide you with Wool if you defeat or catch it. For the latter, you need a Pal Sphere.

How To Produce Wool

Another method to obtain the Palworld Wool is to build a Ranch, which can be done after playing for a few hours. However, the resources needed to build the structure are quite a lot:

• 50 Wood
• 20 Stone
• 30 Fiber if you don’t know how to get the crafting material.

Also, you’ll be required to reach level 5 to invest the Technology points needed to unlock the Ranch. When you’ve built the Ranch, you need to have at least one Lamball in your base, and it will start producing Wool.
