In Palworld, if you have too much Wood or Stone and don’t know what to do with it, you should consider building a Crusher. The structure allows you to exchange unwanted Wood or Stone for other materials. Since Wood and Stone are really easy to obtain, you might want to build a Crusher station as fast as possible.

How To Build a Crusher in Palworld

Step 1: Unlock the Crusher

To unlock the Crusher, you must first reach level 8 and reserve some Technology points for the building. Once you’re set, go to the Technology tab in your Menu and unlock the Crusher blueprint.

Step 2: Gather the Materials

As you’ve probably already noticed, to build the Crusher, you need the resources listed below:

  • 50 Wood
  • 20 Stone
  • 10 Paldium Fragment

Initially, you can obtain Wood and Stone by cutting trees and mining rock deposits. You can even find some on the ground, but as you reach level 7, you can build Logging Sites and Stone Pits. If you assign Pals to these structures, you automate the production of Wood and Stone.

You also need Paldium Fragments, which can actually be obtained from Crusher stations. But considering you don’t have one yet if you need help, check out our guide to learn how to get Paldium Fragments.

Step 3: Build a Crusher

Now that you have all the needed materials, you can build the Crusher. Thus, press Up on the Dpad of your controller, select the Crusher under the Production tab, and press A.

Then, find a place for the building in your base and press X. Keep in mind that the structure turns blue when you find a suitable spot to build it. Finally, hold X to complete the building.

How To Use a Crusher

If you approach and interact with the Crusher, you can see that you can exchange 1 Wood for 2 Fiber and 5 Stone for 1 Paldium Fragment. Hence, pick Fiber or Paldium Fragment, press A, select the quantity, and start production.

To continue, you need to have at least one Pal with the Watering ability working at your base, and he will come to water the Crusher so you can get your materials. It might take a while if you’ve selected a big quantity. As such, make sure you fill your waiting time with another task.

In the game’s early stages, Pengullet is a great Pal with the Watering trait. You can usually find these Pals near water if you want to catch a few for your Palworld Crusher. If by any chance you don’t know how to capture Pals, refer to our guide.
