Outriders Anomaly Hilltop is the second area you’ll explore on your way to First City, and it features two Loot Chests that contain Gear, Scraps, and Crafting Materials. The Outriders First City Anomaly Hilltop is reached when you play the Dedication main quest, and you work on finding Zahedi. You enter Anomaly Hilltop the moment you exit the Outskirts region.
Just like the Outskirts, Anomaly Hilltop includes two chests that are extremely easy to miss. However, be advised that in this area, you’ll have to deal with a Captain, and there are also a lot of enemies waiting for you.
Loot Chest #1
As you progress toward the top of the hill, you will eventually spot a building with some metal doors. This building is basically the first one you’ll have to cross the moment you exit the Outskirts. There are no enemies you’ll have to fight on your way up.
Before entering the said building, however, hug the right side of the path leading you to the top of the hill, and you’ll find a small path (pictured below) that will take you to the chest. Once you loot this one, retrace your steps and enter the building.
Loot Chest #2
The second Outriders Loot Chest is in the large arena before the gate you’ll have to open. Look for it in the right corner as you enter. It’s in a building, as opposed to the said gate, as you can see below.
It is worth mentioning that once you clear this area, you’ll reach an Explorer Flag, and you’ll be able to choose the next path. Make sure you pick the Power Plant (northeast) because there is another chest you can find there and also one of Madame Beauvoir’s artifacts for the Historian Collector Quest.
