Lumber Station is an Outriders Deadrock Pass area you’ll have to explore while playing the Detour main quest, and it is also a region that includes three Loot Chests you can collect if you need additional Gear, Scraps, and Crafting Materials. Additionally, the Outriders Deadrock Pass Lumber Station is the final area you’ll need to cover in order to move to Trench Town. However, before leaving Deadrock Pass, first, you may want to get the Loot Chests listed below.
To enter the Lumber Station, all you have to do is to track the Detour quest. This specific area is found south of Mountain Tunnel Explorer Flag, and you will be able to access it the moment you exit a cave. The problem here, however, is that the said cave’s entrance is located at the end of the Mountain Road area, and it features a very nasty bug that can break your game.
In case you can’t enter the Mountain Road cave (thus not being able to reach the Explorer Flag), make sure you check this Outriders Detour Quest Bug Fix. If you manage to reach the tunnel, then you’ll be able to enter the Lumber Station.
The Outriders Lumber Station is a small area, but this doesn’t mean you won’t encounter a lot of enemies. Obviously, first, you’ll want to clear all of them, including the two Ravagers that can be quite resilient. Then, you’ll need to deal with a Marauder Leader. Next, you’ll want to find the three hidden chests listed below.
Loot Chest #1
The first chest is located out in the opening. You’ll find it on a small hill on the left side while facing the gate, which marks your exit point. It’s truly impossible to miss, especially because you’ll most likely kill some of the enemies on this hill.
Loot Chest #2
The second chest is also very accessible. Look for it on the right side of the gate you’ll have to open. You’ll find it inside a wooden cabin.
Loot Chest #3
The final chest in this area is also the most accessible because it is found near the exit point. To get it, open the gates to the Lumber Station following your objective, and you’ll see it on the left side of the truck that will take you to Trench Town.
