Outriders Mine & Refinery is a side-quest Quarry area you will have to explore while playing the Dying Wish mission, and it includes two Loot Chests we will cover in the following guide.
The Outriders Quarry Mine & Refinery is a medium-sized area that can be accessed while playing the Dying Wish quest.
Since it is not related to the game’s main story quests, the only way to get inside is by triggering the said side quest.
How To Get To Quarry Mine & Refinery In Outriders
To enter the Mine & Refinery, first, you have to start the Outriders Dying Wish side quest.
To do this, fast-travel to the Riverbed Explorer Flag or walk southeast from your Quarry Camp.
Now locate and talk to Jabari Achebe.
You’ll find it, as you can see in my image below, under a broken bridge very close to the said flag.
Upon talking to him, the Dying Wish quest starts, and all you have to do is to track it and head up on the hill nearby, following your objective marker.
The entrance is through a large gate you can open by turning a wheel.
Mine & Refinery Chests Locations
The moment you enter this region, your objective changes, and you’ll be asked to find and repair cuts in the line.
There are three of them, and they are pretty easy to spot since they are marked.
To reach them, however, you’ll need to fight a lot of mobs and some mini-bosses.
As you progress with this quest, make sure you find and open the two chests listed below.
Loot Chest #1 – Inside A House Between The Stairs
The first Outriders Mine and Refinery Loot Chest; is in the first area, close to the first cut you’ll need to repair.
As you can see in my screenshot, it can be found inside a house between some stairs.
Basically, this house is on the right side of the line cut.
Loot Chest #2 – On The Oher Side In A House
The second Outriders Loot Chest is also quite easy to spot, but you’ll have to fight your way to the other side of this region.
Eventually, you’ll reach a large door, and through it, a mini-boss (Ironclad) appears. Deal with him, and while facing the metal door, turn right to spot the chest inside another house.
You can also see it below.
Claim this one, then repair the cuts for Jabari Achebe, and turn in the Dying Wish quest.
And that’s it, friends. Now you know where to find the Outriders Mine & Refinery Loot Chests in the video game developed by People Can Fly, so how about claiming those in Mining Town next?
