Dying Light 2 Military Airdrop THB-17U is the second Horseshoe District Military Drop you can secure before or after the previous one (THB-22B). Military Airdrop THB-17U counts as one of the 26 Airdrops you have to find in the video game developed by Techland. If it is not the first one you play, you already know that your goal is to reach a crate containing various goodies.

Simply put, for finishing the Military Airdrop THB-17U Activity, you’ll receive the following rewards:

  • 1000 Parkour Points
  • 1 Military Tech
  • 1 Inhibitor
  • Various random loot and gear

To get all these rewards, however, first, you have to get the DL2 Military Airdrop THB-17U, and obviously, you’ll have to do a bit of climbing. Therefore, below, I’ll tell you how to get to it.

Where To Find the DL2 Military Airdrop THB-17U

On the map below, you can notice that this DL2 THB-17U Military Drop Activity is on the northern side of Horseshoe District, northeast of Willow Windmill, explained here.

Furthermore, you can notice that the starting location of the path explained below is on the northern side of the building you have to climb. You should also know that later in the game, in this building, you’ll find a Bandit Camp you have to clear, so it is a good idea to get the Airdrop before the camp spawns. Furthermore, you only need 100 Stamina for this Activity, so it’s pretty accessible.

How To Get the THB-17U Military Airdrop

Once you get close to the location on my map, head toward the northern side of the building and look for a truck like the one in my screenshot.

Jump on it; then, you’ll have to follow a specific path, as you can see above. From the truck’s roof, jump on the pink catwalk ahead, then the ventilation box. Now, turn around and jump on the upper balcony, where you can see a swinging pole. Use it to get to the next balcony, which is made of concrete (pictured below).

Now, you’ll want to jump to the next balcony, which has no pink protection, as you can see above. Once you get there, turn around to spot a wall that was partially destroyed, revealing several metal ledges you can grab.

Jump and grab one of them, then pull yourself up. From the next balcony, turn around and jump to the one above. Then, without entering the building on the right side, jump on the next ventilation box and onto the roof with the yellow tarp.

Upon reaching the roof, turn right and head west to spot a new section you’ll have to climb. Here, you’ll want to stay on the left side (pictured).

After you cross the wooden boards, jump on the pink catwalk, then on the upper one. Now, go around the building, then use the window on the right side to get inside. Next, turn left and cross the room, then use the window on the other side to get back outside.

Keep going around the building and slowly walk on the pink metal bar. Eventually, you’ll reach the two swinging poles below.

Use them to get to the next pink catwalk, then go around the corner to see the ventilation boxes in my screenshot.

Jump on both of them to get to the metal chimney in the distance and grab one of the ledges on the said chimney. Pull yourself up; then, you’ll be on the roof where the crate is found.
