Dying Light 2 Larch Windmill is the second Trinity Windmill you need to activate in the first region of the video game developed by Techland. The Larch Windmill also counts as one of the 17 Windmills featured in the video game, and it is pretty similar to the previous Trinity Windmill we covered: Alder Windmill.

However, unlike the previous point of interest, the path you have to follow to get to the top is different. Additionally, you can also get to the DL2 Larch Windmill while playing the side-quest named Unruly Brother. So here is how to activate the Trinity Larch Windmill in Dying Light 2 Stay Human.

Where To Find the Larch Windmill

As you can notice on the map below, Larch Windmill is on the southern side of the Trinity district. You can say that it is opposed to Alder Windmill.

Furthermore, you can notice that it is south of the Bazaar Settlement, which is a key location in the game. Now, if you don’t want to wait until you get here during the Unruly Brother side-quest, you can activate this Windmill the moment you finish the prologue. Or after the Markers of Plague Story Quest, just before heading towards the Bazaar. Simply get to the location on my map above and get ready to do some climbing.

How To Activate Larch Windmill

Upon getting close to the Larch Windmill, get under the structure and look for the wooden platform pictured below.

Grab it, then pull yourself up. Now, turn around and walk on the metal beam, then when you reach the other side turn around to spot a moving weight. Wait for it to get to the bottom, then jump by pressing R1.

While standing on the moving weight, turn right, and when it reaches the top, jump and grab the wooden platform. Once again, pull yourself up, then turn right to see another moving weight you can grab. Do so, then when it reaches the top, you’ll notice a metal ledge you can grab after another jump on the right side.

While standing on the next wooden platform, look around to spot a hole in the wall on the right. Crouch and go through the hole, then carefully walk on the wooden beam on the right to get to the ladder. Once you climb it, you should be on top of the Larch Windmill. Go around the central structure to see the fuse box you have to activate.

Once you interact with the yellow fuse box, the Dying Light 2 Larch Windmill is marked as active, and you’ll get the corresponding rewards.
