Cyberpunk 2077 Getting Warmer 8ug8ear Netrunner Location Guide

8ug8ear is a Cyberpunk 2077 Netrunner, an NPC, and a mission objective you’ll have to find and rescue for a CP77 Gig you can complete in Westbrook, Japantown. The gig is named Getting Warmer, and your goal is to find 8ug8ear, who is being held captive by the Tyger Claws in a building on Salinas St.

Getting Warmer is similar to We Have Your Wife but far easier. To start it, first, you’ll have to finish the Playing for Time Main Job; then, if you travel to the location on my map below, Wakako Okada will call you.

Look for this gig in the northern part of Westbrook Japantown. On my map below, you can see the location of the building on Salinas St.

Getting inside the warehouse is extremely easy, especially if you don’t want to get spotted. In fact, completing the mission is hilariously easy, so here is what you need to do. While standing on the street in front of the building where 8ug8ear is being held captive, go left, and you’ll spot some stairs.

Using these stairs to get on the roof is the key here, and you have several options. If you unlocked the ability to double jump, you can just jump over the fence. If you have 11 Technical Ability, you can simply open the gate. Alternatively, you can jump from the roof on the stairs nearby (pictured).

Good, so now you are inside the hostile area. Let’s see how to reach 8ug8ear.

Where To Find 8ug8ear in Cyberpunk 2077

8ug8ear is located on the top floor of the building. Since you have direct access from the roof, all you have to do is follow the stairs up and clear all enemies on the said roof. This is pretty easy as they are facing the street. Once you do that, head to the edge of the roof and look for a small balcony facing the back alley. Drop behind the goon pictured below and take him out, then enter the room to spot 8ug8ear on the right side.

Before saving her, though, you’ll need to find a way to safely disconnect 8ug8ear.

How To Lower 8ug8ear’s Temperature

In the same room where you see her on the chair, you should be able to also spot a bathroom. Inside, on the sink, you’ll find a coolant (pictured).

Grab it, then head back to 8ug8ear and interact with her, then interact with the computer on the wall next to the door. Pick Disconnect User, and then grab 8ug8ear’s body. Now, all you have to do is exit the building while carrying 8ug8ear.

The fixer’s car is in the back alley, so simply jump down from the balcony where the last goon above was located. Put 8ug8ear’s body in the trunk and walk away.
