In Cyberpunk 2077, Max Jones TV Studio Building is a location you’ll have to visit for a  CP77 Gig you can complete in Watson, Northside area. This gig is named Freedom Of The Press, and your goal is to get inside, locate, and convince Max Jones to meet with Regina. It is very similar to Woman of La Mancha.

Freedom Of The Press takes place in the old broadcast TV in Northside. To start if you travel to the location on my map below, Regina Jones calls you about this gig. Look for this gig west of Pershing St. fast-travel point in Watson, Northside. On my map below, you can see the location of the TV studio building.

When you get close to this location after you talk to Regina, you’ll have to find a way inside. The good thing about this location is that there are no enemies to deal with. The bad thing is that you’ll be walking into a death trap because the studio is filled with various and quite exotic traps.

So here is how to enter the TV Studio. When you get to the front door, if you have 8 Technical Ability Points, you’re fortunate because you can walk inside like a civilized person. If not, go around the entrance and look for the trash container in my picture below.

Jump on it, then climb the roof and look for an open window. Now, drop inside.

Where To Find Max Jones in Cyberpunk 2077

Once inside the studio, things are pretty straightforward. Loot and explore the location, but pay close attention to all the traps installed. All of them can be disabled as long as you maintain a safe distance.

Disarm each and every laser mine (notice the red beams), and slowly advance through the building until you find a larger room with a stage. Disable the turret nearby, then go left around the stage to see some stairs that will take you to a room where Max Jones can be found. You can see him below.

Here, things get very interesting because you have several timed dialogue choices. Start by telling Max you’re not a corpo so he can lower his weapon. Now, you’ll have to convince Max to meet with Regina.

Pick the following lines:

  • She just wants to help
  • Regina was your mentor?
  • You dying wouldn’t change a thing
  • She deserves a chance. Talk to her

Now, Max should agree to meet Regina. Before leaving, clean up the place because there are a lot of goodies to be found here. Finally, follow the door behind Max, and it’ll take you to the front alley where the car is waiting.
