Prototype in the Scraper is one of the gigs in the Phantom Liberty DLC for Cyberpunk 2077, where you must retrieve a prototype implant and its schematics. Like many other gigs in the game, there will be a moment where you have to make a decision.
While these choices may not always have a significant impact on the outcome of the gig, they may have moral and ethical implications. In the CP2077 Prototype in the Sky Gig, you must choose whether to spare or condemn Hasan Demir. He possesses valuable technology inside his head, and if you send him back to Zetatech corporation, they will torture him to retrieve it.
The Prototype in the Scraper Gig in Cyberpunk 2077 can be started only after you’ve progressed through the opening main jobs of the Phantom Liberty DLC. More precisely, you’ll have to reach and progress the Lucretia My Reflection main job until you’re tasked to find a way to open the Capitan Caliente entrance door.
On your way to the restaurant, the local fixer, Mr. Hands, will contact you to give you some work opportunities. To initiate the Prototype in the Scraper gig, make your way to the gig icon in the Longshore Stacks, the residential quarter of Dogtown. We’ve pinpointed the starting location on the map below.

As you get near the construction site entrance of the Scraper, Mr. Hands will contact you on the phone to provide the necessary details about the contract. The main objective of the Prototype in the Scraper gig is to retrieve a prototype implant and its schematics.
How To Complete the Prototype in the Scraper
Enter the Scraper construction site and go down the ramp, then hide behind one of the crates around. I would advise you to scan and mark all the scavenger enemies and surveillance cameras around the site to easily track their movement and current location.
Also, I don’t recommend starting shooting immediately, as the area is filled with powerful scavengers who can overpower you if you’re ill-equipped. Let’s silently kill a few of them before we pull the big guns.
After you’ve marked most enemies, eliminate the Crow enemy at the back of the vehicle and dump his body in the nearby crate. Then, move to the left behind the white container and silently kill the Rat enemy sitting on the couch.

Generally, avoid taking them down in plain view of other enemies. Also, try to hide their bodies in the nearby crates or behind different objects, if you can.
Once you’ve eliminated the Rat, climb the small ledge opposite the couch. In this section, you must eliminate another Crow and a Vulture. Take down the Crow as he goes to the rear of the nearby building.

To sneak behind Vulture’s back and eliminate him, you must use the “Distract Enemies” quickhack on the nearby Floodlight. I would suggest doing a manual save to avoid losing the progress if caught.
After eliminating both scavengers, take the stairs on the left where you eliminated the Crow earlier, and enter the first container on the right. Access the computer on the workbench to disable the Surveillance System. You can also remotely take over the three Militech Aegis X2 scattered around the construction site.

You can use these Military Turrets to eliminate all the scavengers quickly. Take over the second Militech Aegis X2, mark all the enemies, and take them down. When you start shooting them, focus on the ones closest to you because they will swarm your location.
Switch between the turrets as you see fit until you’ve cleared the area of scavengers. Also, take your time to loot them. Once you’re ready, follow the quest marker to the elevator. Before you take it up, check the armory-locked door on the left side.
To unlock the door, use the keypad and enter the code “2045”. You can find the code in one of the messages on the computer you used to control the turrets.

Now, take the elevator to the 24th floor to reach the headquarters. You’ll have to face another small army of scavengers outside the elevator doors. As before, I recommend you mark all the enemies first since there are so many. Also, try to disable all the surveillance cameras you can spot to avoid being detected while you sneak behind enemies.
Then, try to silently kill as many enemies as possible on the upper level and make your way to the lower level. If things get messy, make sure to disable the Militech Aegis X2 turret first. Once you clear the area, follow the quest marker leading to the Prototype emitting the signal. Eventually, you’ll reach a prison cell with a prisoner who goes by the name of Hasan.

During the conversation with Hasan, he will attempt to persuade you to release him. The Prototype is installed in his head, but he can help you find the necessary schematics. You’ll need the code to access his cell, which can be found in the Codes & Passwords file on the computer located just above his cell. The code you need is “2753”.

Return to the cell where Hasan is being held and use the code on the keypad to the right to release him. Once he is free, escort him through the scavengers’ base. Eventually, he will provide you with the schematics and ask you to lower the drawbridge to ensure a safe escape.
Follow Hasan across the drawbridge and wait for him to sit on a chair. Then, you’ll have to choose from one of the two following dialogue options:
- Prototype’s my responsibility now.
- Fine. Watch yourself out there.

Now, you must decide between pursuing the Prototype you’ve been tasked to recover or letting Hasan take it. Here are the outcomes of both choices. If you decide to chase after the Prototype, you will have to contact Mr. Hands and make another decision.
You can either provide the fixer with Hasan’s coordinates so he can be taken back to Zetatech or request Mr. Hands to retrieve the Prototype and release Hasan.

It is worth noting that choosing either of these options will result in a similar outcome for the Prototype in the Scraper Gig. The rewards given are also the same. However, those who choose to let Hasan go will be contacted by him again and given a side job that eventually rewards them with the Ambition Iconic Tech Pistol.
But if you decide not to pursue the Prototype, you must deliver the schematic to a designated drop point. The mission’s outcome remains unchanged, and you will receive the same rewards as if you went after the Prototype.
You will also have future interactions with Hasan, allowing you to obtain the Ambition Icon Tech Pistol. I think the best option is to let Hasan go, as you can put your hands on a new iconic gun in an upcoming side job.
