Treating Symptoms is one of the Gigs available from Mr. Hands in the Dogtown district of Cyberpunk 2077 Phantom Liberty DLC, where you must find and eliminate Milko Alexis inside the Voodoo Boys base. Getting to Milko Alexis’s location can prove difficult, as you will have to face an army of Voodoo Boys and an army of robots.

Also, once you find Milko Alexis, you’ll have to make an important decision: neutralize him or hand him over to the NetWatch. You can embark on the Treating Symptoms Gig once you’ve progressed the Lucretia My Reflection main job until you are tasked to find an entrance to the Capitan Caliente restaurant.

Mr. Hands, the local fixer, will call you on your way to the restaurant to inform you that he has some new jobs for you. To start the mission, make your way to the gig icon south of the Dogtown Stadium, as shown in the image below.

As you get near the Luxor High Wellness Spa, Mr. Hands will call you to give you the details about the gig.

How to Complete the Treating Symptoms Gig

Before entering the Voodoo Boys’ base, sneak behind the guard in the front and kill him on the spot. As you look inside through the front entrance, you’ll spot two more Voodoo Boys: one on the balcony and another on the ground floor.

Wait for the Voodoo Boy to leave the balcony and grab the other one on the ground floor to kill and hide his body in the crate on the right.

Before you can climb the stairs to reach the balcony, temporarily turn off the security turret and permanently disable the surveillance camera on the left. You’ll have 30 seconds before the security turret turns back on, so kill the Voodoo Boy as he returns to the balcony overlooking the entrance. If necessary, turn it off again for an additional 30 seconds.

Once you kill him on the balcony, head into the room with the computer on the left and sneak behind another Voodoo Boy. After you’ve dealt with him, use the nearby computer to turn off the surveillance system. Proceed on the hallway and sneak behind two more Voodoo Boys working on something.

Eventually, you’ll reach some metal double doors. Before you open and go through them, deal with the Voodoo Boy in the room on the right and ask the Supplier about Milko Alexis.

Eventually, you'll reach some metal double doors. Before you open and go through them, deal with the Voodoo Boy in the room on the right and ask the Supplier about Milko Alexis.

Unfortunately, this information doesn’t come free. You’ll need to pay a small fee of 500 Eurodollars. Or you can punch him in the head. That works, too. After that, he’ll provide details about the Voodoo Boys’ robot army and how they plan to install powerful implants on them.

End the conversation with the Supplier and tweak your gear to prepare for the boss fight against the Robot R MK. 2 and a swarm of lesser robots.

Neutralize the robots to progress the Treating Symptoms gig.

The Supplier has activated several servers in the next room to give you an advantage in the upcoming battle. If you shoot them while the robots are nearby, they will be zapped with an electrical surge. Please check the image below for a visual reference.

Shoot the red boxes to zap the robots with an electrical surge.

After you clear the area, I recommend looting the nearby containers and the Robot R MK. 2 for the Ogou (Iconic Smart Pistol) and Smart Link Cyberware before proceeding. To continue, make your way towards the brightly lit double doors at the room’s rear. Take the staircase on the right and open the door.

Proceed through the hallway and descend another flight of stairs. Once you reach the next doorway, you will encounter a Netrunner connected to Milko Alexis. You have two options: take out Milko Alexis or speak with the Netrunner, Alan.

Alan will let you know that Milko Alexis is involved in a larger operation and that he aims to eliminate the one in charge at the top. However, he can only do this if Milko is kept alive.

During the conversation with Alan, you'll eventually have to choose between eliminating Milko Alexis or handing him over to the NetWatch.

If you’re having a hard time deciding which option to choose, it’s important to note that it’s mainly an opportunity to roleplay V’s relationship with NetWatch. Regardless of your decision, the rewards at the end of the Treating Symptoms Gig are the same, and both choices ensure Indira’s safety. Therefore, you should choose the option that best aligns with your experience with NetWatch.

After that, leave the Voodoo Boys’ base through the sewer. Once you’re outside, Mr. Hands will contact you and congratulate you for a job well done.
