Leah Gladen’s apartment is a Cyberpunk 2077 mission location you’ll have to find and explore for a CP77 Gig you can complete in Westbrook, Japantown area of the video game developed by CD Projekt Red.
The said gig is named Greed Never Pays, and your goal is to retrieve Leah Gladen’s lockbreaker device.
To start Cyberpunk 2077 Greed Never Pays, first, you’ll have to finish the Playing for Time Main Job and reach Street Cred Rank 1.
Greed Never Pay is a Cyberpunk 2077 Search and Recovery Gig, and in the walkthrough below, I’ll tell you how to complete it.
Journal Entry
A great treasure can turn out to be a great curse. Remember that, V.
One of the fences in my territory, Leah Gladen, came into possession of some highly valuable equipment – a lockbreak device capable of jailbreaking corp cyberware (some call it a CorpCracker). This tech opens doors for suits who want out but don’t want to lose function of cop-issued chrome or are looking to make an extra eddie by selling secondhand.
Leah wasn’t born yesterday. She knows what the tech is worth. She and I went back and forth, long price negotiations. We were close to reaching a deal when all contact was lost.
Your job is to find out what happened to Leah – but more importantly to get that skeleton key for me. Don’t bother reporting back until you have it. Don’t waste time.
Gig Objectives
- Go To Leah Gladen’s apartment
- Search Leah Gladen’s apartment
- Search the hidden room
- Go to the braindance club Wired Head
- Search Wired Head
- Take Leah Gladen’s equipment
- Get out of Wired Head
- Deposit the equipment at the drop point
Gig Location
Look for this gig in western Japantown.
On my map below, you can see that the icon is located north of Megabuilding H8 fast travel point.
Leah Gladen’s apartment building is pretty easy to locate because at the location marked on the map, you’ll see a building with its doors wide open.
There are 2 enemies waiting for you in the lobby, and you can dispatch them however you see fit, then explore the lobby.
Obviously, there is a lot of loot and junk you can get here, but the most important item sits on the desk. You can see it below, and it’s a Personnel Access Token that allows you to use the elevator.
Grab it, then take the elevator in the lobby to the third floor.
How To Enter Leah Gladen’s Apartment
When you exit the elevator, turn left, and you’ll see Leah Gladen’s apartment, which can be accessed in two ways.
You can open the door if you have 5 Technical Ability Points, or you can use a code.
The said code is actually provided by the mission’s description in your journal.
So, Leah Gladen’s apartment code is 2137.
Where To Find The Hidden Room
While inside Leah Gladen’s apartment, take your time to explore the place and again loot everything.
Your goal, however, is to find Leah Gladen’s hidden room.
Once you are done looting the place, check the vending machine by the door. You can see it below.
This will trigger a cutscene, but the vending machine must be moved.
To do this, head to the kitchen and find the red switch in my screenshot.
Push it and then go back to the hidden room and check the computer.
Read all three emails, although only the first two are important for this mission. Their subject is Skeleton Key.
Where To Find Leah Gladen’s Equipment
After your complete the objective above, it’s time to visit the Wired Head Braindance Club.
This is found just northwest of your current location. Simply follow the path marked on your minimap and when you enter the club, dispatch the guard in the lobby, then take the elevator to floor -01: Braindance Club.
Now, you’ll reach the club, which is obviously a hostile area.
Here you’ll want to deal with all guards, and how you do that depends on your playstyle. You can shoot them, or you can take them down silently. Depends on how you want to play the game.
The idea is the same in all cases. Clear the area.
After you’re done with them, check the back room (where the private booths are located), and you’ll see a stash (pictured below).
Inside you’ll find the Corpo Cracker, which is, in fact, Leah Gladen’s Equipment.
It goes without saying that before leaving the club, you’ll want to fully explore it. When you’re done, head outside and follow the path on your minimap to the Drop Point, which is pretty close.
Deposit the equipment of Leah Gladen inside, and you’re done with this gig.
That’s everything you need to know about Leah Gladen, and the Cyberpunk 2077 Greed Never Pays Gig, so now let’s meet Brendan, the vending machine who is nearby.
