Forza Horizon 5 Change of Scenery is a Horizon Apex Outpost Festival Accolade you can unlock to win 250 Accolade Points in the latest Forza Horizon video game developed by Playground Games.

FH5 Change of Scenery Accolade is by far the trickiest timed Accolade in the Festivals playlist because of the distance you have to cover and the time limit.

Furthermore, the Forza 5 Change of Scenery is tricky to start, possibly because of a minor bug.

Nevertheless, it can be completed, and below I’ll tell you how to do it.

For this Accolade, the first thing you’ll have to do is pin it from your Horizon Apex Outpost Festivals Accolades list.

Once you do that, you’ll see that the first requirement is to start at Pantano De La Selva.

However, before talking about the starting location, you may want to consider changing the current car.

Even though this race takes place mostly on rough terrain, I recommend using the 2015 Ultima Evolution Coupe 1020.

It is the same car we talked about in the Urban Treasure Hunt Festival Accolade guide, and again you may want to use Spilner’s tune (Share Code 106966269).

This tune works very well on brought terrain, and the 2015 Ultima Evolution Coupe is fast enough to get you to the destination within 1 minute and 30 seconds.

Now, after you get inside the car and apply the recommended tune, head to the location marked on my map above by the arrow on the right side.

Notice that this starting point is in the wilderness, not on the road. In fact, as you can see below, it’s in a swamp.

After you reach the location on my map, it is imperative to mark your destination point, which, again, as you can see in the first screenshot, is the XP Board southwest of Bola Ocho Circuit.

Make sure you mark that specific Board as the destination because you can save a lot of time since you don’t have to enter Guanajuato but only get close to it.

Awesome, now it’s time to start racing towards Guanajuato, and for the first part of the race, stay on the road, driving towards the roundabout northwest of Granjas De Tapalpa.

The moment you get to the roundabout, you can leave the road and go offroad.

Your goal here is to cross the fields at high speed because, most of the time, you’ll fly.

Furthermore, it is worth mentioning that using the Rewind option if you spin or hit an obstacle will not stop the timer. Nor will it reverse it, so you want to dodge all obstacles.

However, the good thing is that the Ultima is fast enough to cover the distance and get you to the destination.

As you can see, you only need to get close to the said XP Board, and you should have at least 5 seconds to spare.
