Forza Horizon 5 Lanterns are Smashable Objects you’ll have to find to unlock the Another One Lights The Dust Evolving World Accolade while playing the FH5 game developed by Playground Games. The Lanterns are pretty easy to find; however, the Another One Lights The Dust Accolade is a bit trickier, and it also comes with a time frame.

Therefore, throughout the guide below, I’ll tell you everything you need to know about this Evolving World Accolade, including how to unlock the required cars and how to smash 25 Forza 5 Lanterns during the New Year.

Where To Find The FH5 Lanterns

Forza Horizon 5 Lanterns Locations

For this FH5 guide to be as helpful as possible, the first thing you must know is that the Lanterns are also Collectibles. Furthermore, the Another One Lights The Dust Accolade specifies that the 25 Lanterns must be smashed during the New Year, but it doesn’t say that it is the Chinese New Year, which occurs on February 1.

As such, the FH5 Lanterns can be found when the Series 3 Winter Season starts, and they must be smashed before the Spring Season ends. To see what a Forza 5 Lantern looks like, check the Series 3 Winter Season and the Collectibles window, which shows several Chinese Lampions, as pictured above. Now, open your map and travel to the location marked below.

As you can see, this area is Dunas Blancas, and it is actually a desert. Now, while driving around, you’ll see a lot of Forza Horizon 5 Floating Chinese Lanterns that look like the ones in my screenshot.

Your goal is to smash 25 for the Another One Lights The Dust Accolade and 50 for the FH5 Light The Beacons Challenge. Since some of these are closer to the ground, use the Toyota to get the 25 Lanterns for the Accolade, then switch to a faster car to get the remaining 25 for the Challenge. As you’ll notice, some Lanterns float higher above the ground, and they require some Air Skills.

How To Smash 25 Lanterns During New Year

Great, so now that you know what you are looking for, let’s go over the Forza Horizon 5 Another One Lights The Dust and how to complete it. This specific Accolade has three requirements:

  • It must be completed during the New Year
  • You need to smash 25 Lanterns
  • You have to do it in the 2014 Toyota AT38 or the 2016 Toyota At 37

The first requirement is pretty straightforward because the New Year means, in fact, Series 3 Seasons 3 and 4. Or simply put, you’ll be able to unlock the Accolade starting January 22, 2022, and you have to complete it before February 3, 2022.

Moving on, to get this Accolade, you’ll need to smash 25 Lanterns, which is also an easy task because there are a lot of them, as you’re about to see when you reach Dunas Blancas. Last but not least, for the Another One Lights The Dust Forza Horizon 5 Accolade, you’ll have to smash the Lanterns while driving the 2014 Toyota AT38 or the 2016 Toyota At 37.

This is, in fact, the trickiest requirement because you must unlock one of these two models, and most likely, you won’t be able to find them at the Auction House.

So, if you wonder how to get the 2014 Toyota AT38 and the 2016 Toyota At 37 in Forza 5, the answer is simple. By completing Season Events. As you can see below, the Toyota AT37 can be unlocked when you gather 45 Season Points during the Autumn Season in Series 3.

On the other hand, the Toyota AT 38 is unlocked during the Series 3 Winter Season. Obviously, by completing Season Events you earn a total of 45 PTS.

To summarize, for the Another One Lights The Dust FH5 Accolade, your first goal is to obtain one of the two cars; then you’ll have to smash 25 Lanterns or Chinese Lampions, and you’ll need to do this before February 3, 2022.
