Forza Horizon 5 Hotel Mirador Balderrama House Roof Bonus Board or the 5000 XP Board on the shed near Mirador Balderrama Hotel is one of the collectibles that can prove tricky to get in the FH5 video game developed by Playground Games.
Although not as difficult as other XP Boards, this Bonus Board is mandatory if you wish to unlock the Complete Collection achievement. So, let’s see how you can smash the FH5 Hotel Mirador Balderrama House Roof Bonus Board.
How To Smash the FH5 Mirador Balderrama Roof Board
As usual, we’ll start with the board’s location, which, as you can see on the map below, is close to the road northeast of Valle De Las Ranas and south of Copper Canyon. This board is the 83rd if you use my XP Boards Treasure Map, and most likely, you’ll discover it while exploring the northern side of Mexico.
The best thing about this board is that it does not require a PR Stunt, unlike others. So, get to the location on my map and look around to spot a metal shed with the 5000 XP Board on the roof. Now, your goal is to get up there and smash it.
Recommended Car
Because for this Forza Horizon 5 Mirador Balderrama Roof Board, you don’t have to rely on speed or your car’s weight; you can get it with most cars available in FH5. Simply put, for this one, we’ll use the Earth’s gravity.
For the sake of the guide, though, I managed to smash this board with the same 2011 BMW X5 M used to get the Los Jardines White Tent Roof XP Bonus Board.
Starting Location
While you have the freedom to choose the car you want to use for this collectible, things are different regarding the starting location. Basically, for this roof XP Board, you’ll have to drop from the hill above it. On my map above, you can notice the starting point marked by a yellow arrow.
The hill in question is south of the Bonus Board. Drive there, and you’ll see a dirt road with an amazing viewpoint (pictured below).
Great, so now you know that you can use any car and that you have to drop on the roof of the house to smash the board. To save you time, in the image below, you can see the exact spot you’ll have to use to drop on the shed. If you slowly drive on the path between the two arrows, you’ll fall precisely on the roof.
Just so you know, by slowly, I mean around 25 MPH because if you drive too fast, you’ll drop behind the shed below. On the other hand, if you drive too slowly, you’ll fall in front of it.
Because the recommended speed is easy to maintain, you may want to focus on your car’s direction. Also, in the image above, you can notice a rather large tree. This tree should be on your right side, but as you approach the edge of the mountain, you’ll want to turn right toward it slowly.
Obviously, you can adjust the direction by rewinding and applying minor corrections. Just make sure you know exactly where the roof is positioned.
