Forza Horizon 5 Cordillera Under Bridge Bonus Board, or the 5000 XP Board that sits under the highway in the Cordillera area is the most annoying collectible in the video game developed by Playground Games. That’s because the FH5 Cordillera Under Bridge XP Board has no logic, and whoever put it there wanted to test your patience.
Obviously, the Forza Horizon 5 Highway Bridge Board is mandatory for the Complete Collection achievement, and obviously, you’ll be able to smash it. The problem here is the time required to do this because, unlike other collectibles in the game, you’ll have to rely mostly on luck.
So, let’s see how to increase your chances of getting the XP Bonus Board under the highway in Forza Horizon 5 because even though your luck plays a significant role, there are a few aspects you should be aware of.
How To Smash the FH5 Cordillera Under Bridge Board
As you can notice on the map below, this XP Board is under the highway that splits Mexico into two parts. It is in the Cordillera Area of the game, and you can also notice that there are no PR Stunts nearby.
This means you won’t have a ramp to rely on, and you’ll have to use the terrain to get to the FH5 XP Board under the highway. If you can’t find it, drive to the location on my map, then go under the highway and look at one of the sustaining pillars.
Assuming you use my FH5 XP Boards Treasure map, this is the 171st Bonus Board.
Recommended Car
Since the FH5 Highway XP Board is relatively close to the ground, the weight of your car is not essential. What is essential, however, is the car’s power. As such, you may want to opt for a car that is in B Class.
Nothing fancy, though, so don’t waste your CR on buying a new supercar because there is no need. I have used a 2011 BMW X5 M that I won at the wheelspin, and most cars with decent power can get the job done.
Starting Location
While the car you drive is not essential, the starting location is because you’ll have to follow a specific path to get the Forza Horizon 5 Under Highway Board. As such, pay close attention to the map above and notice that you have to place yourself west of the actual board’s location on your in-game map.
You’ll be in the valley next to the highway, and you’ll race toward the bridge’s sustaining pillar, as you can see below.
Great, so now that you know where to start, it’s time to discuss the recommended path, but keep in mind that your luck plays a significant role here. There are several things you should consider, though. First, if you use the same car as the one I used to smash the Forza Horizon 5 Cordillera Under Bridge Board, you should aim for a speed of around 90 MPH when you start flying towards the board.
Second, you will want to avoid the concrete on the right side at all costs. It is at the junction of the bridge and the ground. If you hit it, you’ll be pushed away from the board. Last but not least, your car should always face the gap in the middle of the pillar (marked).
As you get close to the peak of the hill, slightly start turning right because the moment you jump, the car continues to move in the direction of the board you must smash. After you find the correct direction, even if you miss the Bonus Board by an inch, consider rewinding because you can make minor adjustments that will get you closer to the board.
As such, rewind until you are on the ground, then slightly change the direction if needed. If you start from the beginning, chances are you’ll waste a lot of time. Remember that all you need to do is touch the board, even if you have to roll into it as I did.
So, did you manage to get the Forza Horizon 5 XP Bonus Board under the highway bridge? What was your strategy?
I used the 2011 BMW M5 FE w x class tune because I happened to be driving it when I decided to try for that board again. I had tried a few different cars when going for it before with no luck, so I wet for it topagain. I lined up on the board location marker hit the gas and tried to keep it lined up & just before I got to the top of the hill I hit the brakes and turn just a bit to the right, ittook a few tries but th last one when i apped the brakes and turned it started to drift right before take off and though it wasn’t pretty it nailed it, albeit going sideways and clipping the left part of the bridge piling
Stedler here I meant the 2011 bmw x5m fe
