Forza Horizon 5 City Sights 3 Stars can also be problematic if you wish to get all stars while playing the first Test Driver Horizon Street Scene Chapter because you’ll have to beat another timer and reach the finish line in 2:25 or 2 minutes and 25 seconds. However, the City Sights Forza Horizon 5 3 Stars rely on a shortcut, unlike the Lucha De Carreteras Show Me Story.
FH5 City Sights Story Location
As you can see on the map below, the FH5 City Sights Story takes place in Guanajuato, a crowded city with many streets.
You’ll be driving a Toyota GR Supra for this event, which is a nice car but not the fastest. On top of this, your goal is to cross the city and reach the final destination point in no more than 2 minutes and 25 seconds. Let’s see how you can do this.
From the beginning, it is worth knowing that for the first part of the race, you’ll need to drive on the city’s streets, and several sharp turns require you to drive slowly or know how to drift. As such, before entering the race, consider making the following adjustments to your current car because they’ll also apply to the car you’ll drive during the Story:
- Go to Menu, then to Campaign, then to Settings and Difficulty. Set Braking to Anti-Lock Off.
- Set Traction Control and Stability Control Off if you know how to drift. If not, set those On.
If you set the Braking Anti-Lock Off, you’ll be able to control the speed when taking sharp turns; thus, you can save precious time. These turns are obviously more accessible for drifters, but this doesn’t mean you need to know how to drift to get the 3 Stars. Good, so let’s go over the key sections you’ll encounter in this Story.
How To Get 3 Stars in City Sights FH5 Horizon Story
The first tricky turn is just before the second destination point. It’s in a large plaza (pictured), and here, you’ll want to drift or slow down. The good thing about this turn is that you have a lot of space on the right side, so there are no obstacles you can hit; however, if you go too far from the actual turn, you should rewind.
After the fourth destination point, there is another sharp turn near the Templo de San Francisco. Here, you’ll want to maintain a low speed or perfectly drift if possible. You can also use the buildings on the right side and bump into them the moment you turn around.
The real trick, however, comes after the fifth destination point, near Teatro Principal. Here, you’ll have to use the FH5 City Sights shortcut, which is immediately after Universidad the Guanajuato. Basically, instead of going left as the marker on the road tells you, head straight ahead, and you’ll exit the city. The path you need to follow is pictured below.
The shortcut you see above is mandatory for getting the 3 City Sights Gold Stars in Forza Horizon 5. If you miss it, rewind and follow the path straight ahead, which leads outside the city. When you get to the top of the next hill, the GPS will mark a new route, starting with a left turn.
After this turn, stay on the country road, then take the second shortcut over the hill on the right side (also pictured). This shortcut is also essential because behind the hill is the next destination point.
Finally, when you get close to the next destination point, start driving up the hill on the right side and return to the country road. From this point onward, the path is linear, and the last destination point (finish line) is near Hotel Castillo. Now, assuming you used both shortcuts correctly, the Forza Horizon 5 City Sight 3 Stars are yours.
I wish it was about driving skill instead of stupid unmarked shortcuts
Yeah, most events rely on shortcuts. Not all of them though
I hate this game sometimes. The cringe voice lines while doing these missions are bad enough, but then it turns out that your driving skill is completely irrelevant because you need to take another route, then deviate from THAT route and just drive straight up a hill. What monumental idiot thought of this?
Yeah, it can be frustrating.
