Drowned Abyss Lucky Dice are the trickiest Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands collectibles you’ll need to find in the area known as Aphotic Trench because, just like the Lore Scrolls, they do not appear on your map even if you get close to them. Although Drowned Abyss is an area visibly smaller compared to Crackmast Cove, it features 20 Lucky Dice you’ll have to open to reach 100% progress.
As part of our complete Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands guide, below, we’ll go over all Drowned Abyss Lucky Die locations.
Where To Find the Drowned Abyss Dice Chests
The following map shows the general locations for all Drowned Abyss Chests hidden in the video game developed by Gearbox Software for PC, Xbox, and PlayStation. Since some of the areas we’ll explore throughout the guide may not be available when you first get to this region, remember to prioritize all side-quests, as the NPCs you’ll meet will unlock them.
After you finish the side quests, you should also complete the main quest here, and only then will you be able to mop up the region, gathering all collectibles.
Lucky Die #1: On a Coral
Starting from Drowned Abyss – Untrodden Depths fast travel point, the first Drowned Abyss Lucky Die Chest is found on a large coral. You’ll see it in front of a waterfall as you follow the linear path ahead.
Lucky Die #2: In a Cave Behind Some Vines
Several steps away from the previous collectible, on the left side of the canyon, you’ll need to follow is a hidden cave. Look for some vines you can smash, and inside, you’ll see the second Die.
Lucky Die #3: Behind a Stone Pillar
Upon reaching the first altar, turn left, and you’ll see a stone pillar on the small hill ahead. Behind it sits the third Drowned Abyss Die.
Lucky Die #4: Behind Brazier
The fourth Lucky Chest is found within the Temple of the Slithersong area, which you’ll visit while playing the side quest named Of Curse and Claw quest. It sits on a balcony behind a brazier.
Lucky Die #5: On Top of a Coral
After entering the arena known as Untrodden Depths, you can find three additional Drowned Abyss Dice. The first one sits on top of a coral near the suspended ship at the location marked above. You can climb the coral from the ground to get it.
Lucky Die #6: Inside a Cargo Hold
Once you find the previous Chest, turn south and look up to spot a hanging anchor. Shoot the chain, and it will fall to the ground, unlocking a pirate ship’s cargo hold. Get the Lucky Die inside.
Lucky Die #7: On the Balcony of a Ship
From the previous location, use the pink jump pad nearby, and you’ll land near the suspended pirate ship. Follow the painted ledges and get to the other side. The Die is on the back of this ship on a balcony. You can get it by going around the back, and you should also find a Poetry Page here.
Lucky Die #8: In the Hull of a Ship
As you progress towards the Drowned Abyss – Dry’l’s Gallery fast-travel station, you’ll have to go through a shipwreck. The Chest is on the upper level and quite easy to spot.
Lucky Die #9: In a Lava Pond
From the previous collectibles, keep pushing east through the tunnel, and you’ll see one of the Lucky Chests in the middle of a lava lake. Feel free to get inside the lava because the damage you take won’t kill you.
Lucky Die #10: Behind a Stone Pillar
In the area where you’ll fight the boss while facing the transition point, on the left side sits a stone pillar. Make sure you look behind it for the next Lucky Die.
Lucky Die #11: At the End of a Cave
For the next Drowned Abyss Chest, head to the location marked on the map above, and you’ll find the entrance to a tunnel. To get inside, melee the vines. At the end of the tunnel is a cave and the collectible waiting for you.
Lucky Die #12: On a Hill Near a Poison Trap
The 12th Die Chest is probably the most accessible. It sits on a hill in plain sight, as you can see below. Go around the poison trap to get it.

The next Drowned Abyss Lucky Die is inside the shipwreck pictured below. To get it, you’ll have to jump from the wreck on the other side of the canyon and then follow the painted ledges inside and outside.

After entering the Temple of Sacrifice, you can find another chest that’s quite easy to miss. Look for it in the upper section of the Temple, behind a broken pillar.
Lucky Die #17: At the Edge of the Map
In the area where you find the Ancient Obelisk, check the northern side after you complete the challenge. At the edge of the cliff sits the Lucky Chest pictured below.
Lucky Die #18: In a Tunnel Behind Some Vines
For the next Drowned Abyss Die, you’ll want to cross Oncewet Court toward the location on my map. Eventually, you’ll reach a cave with a tunnel entrance covered by some vines. You’ll see it on top of a waterfall. While staying on the right side ledge, jump towards the waterfall and smash the vines.
Lucky Die #19: On Top of a Wreck
To get the 19th Die, head to the location marked on the map above and look for a rather large shipwreck. On top of it, you’ll see the collectible, and you can get it by climbing the hull on the left side while looking at the Chest. You should spot a large chest and a mast near the said hull.
Lucky Die #20: On the Roof of a Temple
The last Drowned Abyss collectible marked on the map is on the roof of a temple, and it’s quite accessible. All you need to do is find the pink jump pad north of the Temple and use it to get to the upper section. From here, you’ll be able to see the Die waiting for you.
