Now that you know where to find the Lost Marbles, it’s time to go over Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands Weepwild Dankness Ancient Obelisk, another challenge you need to finish to get 100% completion in the dark forest you get to explore. Weepwild Dankness Obelisk is slightly different from the one in Queen’s Gate because you’ll face an army of mushrooms and mini-boos this time.
Nevertheless, completing the Obelisk in Weepwild Dankness is mandatory, especially if you are a completionist, and because of the loot, you can get at the end of the challenge.
Where To Find the Weepwild Dankness Obelisk
As you can see on the map below, in the video game developed by Gearbox Software, the Weepwild Dankness Ancient Obelisk is between two fast travel points—specifically, Weepwild Dankness – Busted-Ass Ruins and Weepwild Dankness – The Corrupted Heart.
To make things easier, start from the Busted-Ass Ruins’ fast travel point and move towards the location I have marked. Eventually, you’ll find a rather large watermill; then, you’ll have to head left down the hill. Next, you’ll want to turn right. The Ancient Obelisk is in a clearing at the edge of the map.
Just so you know, it goes without saying that if you can’t reach an area in Weepwild Dankness, you’ll want to complete all side-quests in the forest since some NPCs can open the gates for you.
How To Complete the Ancient Obelisk Weepwild Dankness Challenge
To complete the Weepwild Dankness Ancient Obelisk challenge, start by clearing the area around the large pillar and get rid of all skeletons. Now, you’ll want to activate the Obelisk, and you’ll be attacked by a lot of mushrooms.
As you are about to notice, they use various attacks and effects, which means that they are pretty resilient to most elemental weapons. For example, a shroom that deals corrosive damage is resistant to the same effect.
As such, you may want to try a weapon that uses standard bullets. Obviously, you can defeat them with any weapon you want, but it is recommended to use regular bullets for the best results. Furthermore, you’ll want to stay mobile and prioritize Shroomoners and Mortar Shrooms because they deal a lot of damage in a large area. As you keep killing shrooms, the mini-boss appears. It is a rather large green mushroom (Monstrous Shroom) that deals corrosive damage.
This is the mini-boss you have to kill to complete the Weepwild Dankness Ancient Obelisk challenge, and you should consider switching to a fire-based weapon for extra damage. Once you defeat the Monstrous Shroom, the challenge ends, and you can gather your loot.
