Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands Queen’s Gate Rune Switch is one of the challenges you can complete when you enter the second area in the video game developed by Gearbox Software the moment you leave Snoring Valley. Queen’s Gate Switch is, in fact, a small parkour race you need to finish by moving from one checkpoint to another before the time runs out.

The first Rune Switch challenge is relatively easy to complete, but as you progress through the game, these challenges become a lot harder. So, let’s see where to find the Rune Switch in Queen’s Gate and how to complete the associated challenge to get even more loot because we all know how important loot is for all Fatemakers.

Where To Find the Queen’s Gate Switch

As you can see on the map below, the Queen’s Gate Rune Switch challenge is on the southern side of the village known as Buttsville.

The actual Rune Switch is on top of a large building, and your first objective here is to get close to it. By doing so, you can interact with the Rune Switch in Queen’s Gate, thus starting the timer and the challenge. So, look around for the building marked in the following screenshot, then check the yellow paint on the house nearby. The paint marks the spot where you should start climbing.

Upon climbing the first roof, head south and jump on the next one. From here, you’ll need to get to the balcony of the watermill, then to the roof where the Rune Switch awaits.

How To Complete the Rune Switch Queen’s Gate Challenge

Upon interacting with the Rune Switch on the watermill, you’ll have to get to three distinct points, which are, in fact, small pillars with runes on them. The first checkpoint is on the house north of your current location. You can see it in the screenshot below, and you’ll have to get to the ground; then, while heading towards it, you’ll need to look for a ramp.

It is on the right side of the house where the first rune switch is spotted. Make sure you use the ramp to get to the lower side of the roof, then head up and interact with the first switch. Once you interact with the first switch on the house, the next one becomes active, and you can see it below.

This one is relatively easy to reach, provided you manage to jump on the next roof from your current location. It is a long jump, but if you aim for the lower (left side) of the roof, you’ll be able to get to the next house.

Next, simply climb on the roof where the switch is located and activate it. Now, it’s time for the third and final Rune Switch, which appears after you interact with the second one. To spot it, look towards the large castle in the distance. Head through the nearby wooden gate, and you’ll spot it on top of a stone pillar by the road.

To reach this final Rune Switch, approach the ruined pillar from the north. Or climb the ruins from behind. By activating the last checkpoint, the Queen’s Gate challenge is complete, and you’ll be awarded accordingly with a bunch of items you may or may not need.
