Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands Queen’s Gate Ancient Obelisk is a challenge you have to complete in the second area of the video game developed by Gearbox Software and one of the trickiest in the game. While the actual challenge is quite accessible, regardless of your level or class, what makes it so unique is the Queen’s Gate Ancient Obelisk location.
As you are about to see, the Ancient Obelisk in Queen’s Gate is quite similar to the last two Queen’s Gate Lucky Dice. Fear not, though, Fatemaker, because we will tell you where to find the Queen’s Gate Obelisk and how to complete it.
Where To Find the Queen’s Gate Obelisk
Again, let’s start with the Ancient Obelisk’s location in the video game. As you can see on the map below, this is found in a side area known as The Salten Dredge.
The problem is that when you first get to Queen’s Gate, this area won’t be available, and even after you deal with all Skeletons and stop the invasion, it remains locked. To get access to it, you’ll need to blow up the ocean. And that’s exactly what you are going to do, but you’ll do it while playing the main quest named Emotion of the Ocean.
Since Emotion of the Ocean is a main quest, you can’t miss it. So focus on the story, then return to this area, and you’ll be able to find the Queen’s Gate Ancient Obelisk. On your way toward the Obelisk, you may also want to collect the last two Lucky Chests outlined here. Now, you’ll have to jump to The Salten Dredge area and find the massive structure below.
How To Complete the Ancient Obelisk Queen’s Gate Challenge
To complete the Ancient Obelisk Queen’s Gate challenge, your objective is to defeat a boss but to make it spawn, you’ll have to deal with several Goblins first. These mobs are pretty weak, but as you progress, they’ll turn into War Trolls.
The War Trolls are slow even though they hit hard, so stay mobile. They are weak to all effects, which means that you can use your favorite weapon. The actual boss spawns after killing the War Trolls, and you can see it below. His name is Droll the Troll, and he’s a funny boss who throws Mudskippers.
While fighting this slow boss, the fish he throws at you must be dealt with first because they can deal a lot of damage. The good thing here is that they provide ammo and health. The actual boss is strong against corrosive damage, so use fire-based attacks and spells. Also, stay away from his green puke, as it deals corrosive damage, depleting your shield.
