Assassin’s Creed Mirage Abbasiyah Lost Book Location Guide

Announced at Ubisoft Forward on September 10, 2022, Assassin’s Creed Mirage is the thirteenth installment in the Assassin’s Creed series. The action-adventure stealth game was released on October 5, 2023, for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and Amazon Luna.

Assassin’s Creed Mirage takes place in 9th-century Baghdad and follows the story of Basim Ibn Ishaq, known from Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. Unlike its predecessor, Assassin’s Creed Mirage features reduced RPG elements, focusing on parkour, close-quarter combat, and stealth gameplay.

Set decades before Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, AC Mirage allows players to help Basim evolve from a street thief to a Hidden One. While smaller in size, Assassin’s Creed Mirage is a return to the AC series roots, allowing Basim to complete assassination missions throughout Baghdad, accompanied by his Eastern imperial eagle Enkidu. According to developers, the Assassin’s Creed Mirage main story takes 15-20 hours to complete, and it celebrates the 15th anniversary of the Assassin’s Creed franchise.

Assassin’s Creed Mirage Abbasiyah Lost Book is one of the most accessible of all Lost Books you must find for Al-Jahiz in the video game developed by Ubisoft Bordeaux if you want to complete The Bookworm mission. The Abbasiyah Lost Book in AC Mirage is required to obtain 100% completion in the western Baghdad District, and you’ll find it inside a house in the northwestern corner of the map.

The Lost Book collectible is inside a house that may seem inaccessible initially, but it’s actually very easy to access.

Where To Find the Abbasiyah Lost Book in AC Mirage

As you can observe on the following map, the Abbasiyah Book collectible in Assassin’s Creed Mirage is found north of the House of Wisdom landmark in the upper left corner of the district.

The Abbasiyah Lost Book is found inside a house on the northern side of the district.

Specifically, you’ll find it north of Al-Jahiz’s location. If you can’t spot it, I recommend synchronizing the Observatory Viewpoint. From the said Viewpoint, head northwest along the water canal east of the House of Wisdom. When you reach the location on my map above, look around to spot a house near the city’s wall. When you activate Basim’s eagle vision, you’ll see the glowing Lost Book on the second floor of the house.

How To Get the Lost Book in Abbasiyah

Getting inside the house where the Lost Book awaits may seem impossible at first, mainly because you won’t be able to spot an entrance using the eagle vision. But the entrance exists, and it’s through the back door. So, head to the western side of the house (near the river bank) and look for a wooden door you can smash using Basim’s sword. You should see it under the barred window.

Smash the backdoor of the house to get inside.

Once inside the house, turn right, and you’ll see a library you can move. Behind the library are the stairs leading to the second floor. So, pull the library away to clear the path, then follow the stairs to the second floor. Turn left again, and you’ll see the book waiting for you on the table.

The Abbasiyah Lost Book is waiting for you on the table.
