Assassin’s Creed Mirage Tiferet’s Treasure Hunt Tale of Baghdad

Announced at Ubisoft Forward on September 10, 2022, Assassin’s Creed Mirage is the thirteenth installment in the Assassin’s Creed series. The action-adventure stealth game was released on October 5, 2023, for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and Amazon Luna.

Assassin’s Creed Mirage takes place in 9th-century Baghdad and follows the story of Basim Ibn Ishaq, known from Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. Unlike its predecessor, Assassin’s Creed Mirage features reduced RPG elements, focusing on parkour, close-quarter combat, and stealth gameplay.

Set decades before Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, AC Mirage allows players to help Basim evolve from a street thief to a Hidden One. While smaller in size, Assassin’s Creed Mirage is a return to the AC series roots, allowing Basim to complete assassination missions throughout Baghdad, accompanied by his Eastern imperial eagle Enkidu. According to developers, the Assassin’s Creed Mirage main story takes 15-20 hours to complete, and it celebrates the 15th anniversary of the Assassin’s Creed franchise.

Finding Tiferet’s Treasure is Basim’s main objective in the Assassin’s Creed Mirage Treasure Hunt Tale of Baghdad, available in the Wilderness region of the video game developed by Ubisoft Bordeaux. Similar to the World Events in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, the Tales of Baghdad are short side missions that allow you to help specific NPCs you’ll encounter during your adventure.

The Treasure Hunt Tale of Baghdad, in this case, revolves around Tiferet, who needs Basim’s help in recovering a treasure left by her mother. Since the game doesn’t provide any additional details on your current objective, if you want to complete the Ukbara Tale of Baghdad, I’ll tell you everything you need to know about it.

Where To Find Tiferet In AC Mirage

In Assassin’s Creed Mirage, Tiferet is a female NPC and a funny businesswoman you’ll meet in the northernmost Wilderness town known as Ukbara. If you aim to get 100% completion in the Wilderness region, I recommend visiting Ukbara while working on solving the Surrender Enigma, mainly because Tiferet is close to D’s house. As you can see below, the NPC is on the northwestern side of Ukbara.

You can start the Assassin's Creed Mirage Ukbara Tale of Baghdad by talking to Tiferet.

After reaching the northern Wilderness Village and the location marked above, look for a female NPC in front of a partially submerged house. As you get close, you’ll see Tiferet trying to get inside the house.

Talk to Tiferet to find out what she needs.

Approach Tiferet and talk to her to find out that inside the house she tries to enter is a valuable object that belonged to her mother. For Tiferet, this object is similar to a treasure, although it’s just a blue lusterware amphora. If you wonder what an amphora is, it’s a vase or a jug if you want. So, Tiferet’s Treasure is a vase, as she explains. Now, your job is to recover the lusterware amphora, and the only way to do so is by getting inside the locked house.

How To Get Inside Tiferet’s Locked House in Assassin’s Creed Mirage

After talking to Tiferet, don’t waste your time trying to find a way inside the house while on the ground because the entrance is underwater. Therefore, while facing the house’s front door, turn right, and you’ll see a flag on top of a pillar coming out of the water.

The entrance to Tiferet's house is underwater.

The flag marks the diving spot, so follow the wooden platforms and dive. While underwater, swim north and go under the roof made of straws, then take a sharp left turn and keep swimming south through the linear tunnel. Eventually, you will reach a dead-end, so emerge from the water.

Look around, and you’ll find yourself inside Tiferet’s mother’s house. After you exit the water, the first thing you’ll want to do is to unlock the barred door. Now explore the house, and near the right side window, you’ll see a blue vase (pictured below).

Tiferet's treasure in AC Mirage is by the window.

To get to the blue vase, pull out Basim’s sword and smash the jugs in front of you. Pick up Tiferet’s lusterware amphora and exit the house through the door you just unlocked. Now, look around for Tiferet and take the amphora to her. Now, you’ll witness a hilarious scene because Tiferet will smash the vase into the wall to recover the real treasure, a lump of copper.

Talk to Tiferet again, and she’ll explain that she can make a hundred lusterware vases using the copper inside. As said, Tiferet is a businesswoman, unlike Ma’Bad, the NPC you’ll meet when playing the second Wilderness Tale of Baghdad.
