Assassin’s Creed Mirage Wilderness Viewpoint Locations Guide

Announced at Ubisoft Forward on September 10, 2022, Assassin’s Creed Mirage is the thirteenth installment in the Assassin’s Creed series. The action-adventure stealth game was released on October 5, 2023, for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and Amazon Luna.

Assassin’s Creed Mirage takes place in 9th-century Baghdad and follows the story of Basim Ibn Ishaq, known from Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. Unlike its predecessor, Assassin’s Creed Mirage features reduced RPG elements, focusing on parkour, close-quarter combat, and stealth gameplay.

Set decades before Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, AC Mirage allows players to help Basim evolve from a street thief to a Hidden One. While smaller in size, Assassin’s Creed Mirage is a return to the AC series roots, allowing Basim to complete assassination missions throughout Baghdad, accompanied by his Eastern imperial eagle Enkidu. According to developers, the Assassin’s Creed Mirage main story takes 15-20 hours to complete, and it celebrates the 15th anniversary of the Assassin’s Creed franchise.

Out of 21 Assassin’s Creed Mirage Viewpoints, you must synchronize in the latest video game developed by Ubisoft Bordeaux; 7 are located in the Wilderness region you must cross on your way to Baghdad.

Similar to the Viewpoints from Assassin’s Creed Valhalla for example, the Viewpoints in AC Mirage don’t count as collectibles, but you’ll need to synchronize them if you want to reveal essential landmarks and other activities that will help you achieve 100% completion in all of the game’s areas.

These Viewpoints are mandatory for completionists, and since the Wilderness is the first region you’ll get to explore after Basim’s training, throughout the following guide, I’ll tell you where to find all seven of them. As in all other AC games, to Synchronize a Viewpoint in Assassin’s Creed Mirage, you must climb specific buildings or other structures and place Basim on a wooden ledge. Finally, you have to press the Synchronize button so he can scout the area around him.

Where To Find All AC Mirage Wilderness Viewpoints

Let’s start with the locations of all Assassin’s Creed Mirage Wilderness Viewpoints you must reach to reveal the desert area outside Baghdad fully.

As you can see, since the Wilderness is the largest region, I have divided the map into two parts. After Basim’s training as an assassin, you’ll need to travel to Baghdad. At this point, you can free roam and synchronize all Viepoints in the Wilderness, starting with the northern part.

Following the same order as the one on the maps above, here is how to get all seven Viewpoints.

Viewpoint #1: Northern Oasis

The Northern Oasis Viewpoint in Assassin’s Creed Mirage is the most accessible because it’s on top of a small ruined building. The building is on the eastern side of a small lake at the location marked above. To synchronize the Viewpoint, climb the wooden structures outside the ruins.

Climb the wooden structures outside the Northern Oasis Viewpoint.

Viewpoint #2: Dur-Kurigalzu

Despite its size, the Dur-Kurigalzu Viewpoint is also very accessible because the unusual structure pictured below has multiple climbing points you can use to get to the top. If you encounter difficulties, I suggest approaching it from the south and using the bricks to pull yourself up.

When you reach the top, look for the wooden ledge and step on it to synchronize the Viewpoint. After you reveal the area around you, make sure you perform a Leap of Faith because you’ll get access to a tunnel that leads to the Dur-Kurigalzu Gear Chest.

Use the southern wall to climb the Dur-Kurigalzu Viewpoint in Ac Mirage

Viewpoint #3: Anbar

The third Assassin’s Creed Mirage Wilderness Viewpoint marked on the first map above is in Anbar, the small town where Basim’s adventure starts. Remember, though, that after the events from the Prologue, Anbar becomes a hostile territory, so you’ll have to sneak around the city guards.

Approach the city from the south, and you’ll see the synchronization point on top of a tower (pictured below). To climb the tower, enter the city and head to the mosque nearby. From its roof, jump on the tower’s wall and follow the green plants to the top, then pull yourself up.

Viewpoint #4: Water Mill

For the fourth AC Mirage Wilderness Viewpoint on the first map above, you must get close to Baghdad. The Water Mill Viewpoint is fairly accessible because of the size of the building. To get to it, climb the roof of the smaller building, then use the wooden planks on the wall under the Viewpoint.

The fourth AC Mirage Wilderness Viewpoint is near a Water Mill.

Viewpoint #5: Oasis

Moving to the southern part of the Wilderness, the fifth Viewpoint is next to another Oasis. Specifically, as you can see below, it is on top of a hill you can easily climb using wooden ladders.

The Oasis Viewpoint is on top of a hill.

Viewpoint #6: Mosque

Southeast from the previous Viewpoint, you can find another one in an unnamed area. Use the second map above to see its location, and you’ll spot a mosque when you get close. The Viewpoint is on top of the tower near the mosque. To get to it, you must climb the exterior wall, get to the wooden platform, and then use the metal rings to pull yourself up.

Climb to the top of the tower to get to the synchronization point.

Viewpoint #7: Jarjaraya

The seventh and final AC Mirage Wilderness Synchronization Point is further southeast of the previous one in a small town named Jarjaraya.

After reaching the location marked on the second map above, explore the town, looking for the tallest tower (pictured below). Start climbing the exterior wall, and pull yourself up when you get to the window under the roof.

The seventh Viewpoint is in Jarjaraya.

And that’s it, Assassin! You just synchronized all 7 AC Mirage Wilderness Viewpoints, so now you should be able to see all collectibles and points of interest on your map.
