Assassin’s Creed Mirage Abbasiyah Viewpoint Locations Guide

Announced at Ubisoft Forward on September 10, 2022, Assassin’s Creed Mirage is the thirteenth installment in the Assassin’s Creed series. The action-adventure stealth game was released on October 5, 2023, for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and Amazon Luna.

Assassin’s Creed Mirage takes place in 9th-century Baghdad and follows the story of Basim Ibn Ishaq, known from Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. Unlike its predecessor, Assassin’s Creed Mirage features reduced RPG elements, focusing on parkour, close-quarter combat, and stealth gameplay.

Set decades before Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, AC Mirage allows players to help Basim evolve from a street thief to a Hidden One. While smaller in size, Assassin’s Creed Mirage is a return to the AC series roots, allowing Basim to complete assassination missions throughout Baghdad, accompanied by his Eastern imperial eagle Enkidu. According to developers, the Assassin’s Creed Mirage main story takes 15-20 hours to complete, and it celebrates the 15th anniversary of the Assassin’s Creed franchise.

While the Abbasiyah Viewpoints in Assassin’s Creed Mirage do not appear on your completion panel, they play an essential role in finding all collectibles in the western district of Baghdad. Assassin’s Creed Mirage Abbasiyah district features only three Viewpoints you must synchronize to reveal all available activities and collectibles.

Therefore, when you enter Abbasiyah, I recommend finding and synchronizing all three of them; however, as you are about to see, one of the Viewpoints features a small puzzle you must solve.

Where To Find All AC Mirage Abbasiyah Viewpoints

On the custom map below, you can see the locations of the three Viewpoints in the Abbasiyah District of Assassin’s Creed Mirage. As you probably know, you can synchronize them anytime you want without following a specific mission or quest.

The map shows the locations of the three AC Mirage Abbasiyah Viewpoints.

Following the same order as the one on my map, let’s see how to get on top of them to get a better view of the western region of Baghdad.

Viewpoint #1: Observatory

The first Viewpoint on the map above is found on the northern side of Abbasiyah. It is the Observatory Viewpoint, and to get on top of it, you’ll have to solve a puzzle. The puzzle is also required when working on completing A Life’s Work Tale of Baghdad.

Approach the Viewpoint from the west, and you’ll see that it’s on top of a building surrounded by fences. Go around the building, looking for the main entrance (with a cart nearby). To get past the spiky barriers, climb the wall on top of the door, then move to the wooden pole coming out of the wall.

To get on top of the Observatory Viewpoint climb the wall and use the catwalks to go around the corner.

Walk on the rope, then climb and jump on the three wooden poles to go around the corner of the building. Now you should be able to see a balcony. Here, you’ll want to push the bookshelf to the other side of the balcony. Position it under the metal ring on the wall, then hop on it and climb to the roof.

Push the shelf on the balcony.

After reaching the roof, simply climb the wooden ladder to get to the catwalk and synchronize the Viewpoint.

Viewpoint #2: Mosque

The second Assassin’s Creed Mirage Viewpoint in Abbasiyah is on top of a Mosque. Climbing the Mosque is notably easier if you approach the building from the south. Use the wooden platform near the upper wall to get to the lower roof, then use the wooden ladder by the tower to reach the grappling points.

To synchronize the Mosque Viewpoint in AC Mirage, ascend the tower.

Keep ascending and moving around the tower until you reach the highest point, where the wooden catwalk is found.

Viewpoint #3: Dome of The Ass

The final Abbasiyah Viewpoint is on top of the Dome of the Ass building on the southern side of the district. Approach the building from the northwest and look for a wooden structure (marked below).

Use the wooden structure near the wall to get to the Dome of the Ass Viewpoint.

Climb on it, then head right around the building, following the wooden poles. Jump on the suspended platform, then the crane, and finally climb the wooden ladder. Now, go around the balcony and the round roof to find the catwalk, which allows you to synchronize the Viewpoint.
