Assassin’s Creed Mirage Karkh Gear Chest Locations Guide

Announced at Ubisoft Forward on September 10, 2022, Assassin’s Creed Mirage is the thirteenth installment in the Assassin’s Creed series. The action-adventure stealth game was released on October 5, 2023, for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and Amazon Luna.

Assassin’s Creed Mirage takes place in 9th-century Baghdad and follows the story of Basim Ibn Ishaq, known from Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. Unlike its predecessor, Assassin’s Creed Mirage features reduced RPG elements, focusing on parkour, close-quarter combat, and stealth gameplay.

Set decades before Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, AC Mirage allows players to help Basim evolve from a street thief to a Hidden One. While smaller in size, Assassin’s Creed Mirage is a return to the AC series roots, allowing Basim to complete assassination missions throughout Baghdad, accompanied by his Eastern imperial eagle Enkidu. According to developers, the Assassin’s Creed Mirage main story takes 15-20 hours to complete, and it celebrates the 15th anniversary of the Assassin’s Creed franchise.

The Karkh Gear Chests in Assassin’s Creed Mirage will grant you the Abbasid Knight Outfit, the Abbasid Knight Dagger, and the necessary Upgrade Schematic to fully upgrade them. The Abbasid Knight Outfit features a unique perk called Lick Your Wounds, which allows Basim to regenerate [1%-3%] health every 2 seconds while unseen, up to 50% of maximum health.

The Abbasid Knight Dagger has a unique park called Resilient. When Basim’s Health is lower than 50%, Damage Resistance is increased by 30%. It’s worth mentioning that the AC Mirage Karkh Gear Chests are collectibles, and some of them require solving a light puzzle to get them similar to those in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla.

The Karkh territory in Assassin’s Creed Mirage features a total of 6 Gear Chests scattered across the region. I’ve pinpointed the location for each Karkh Gear Chest on the custom map below.

There are six Gear Chests in Karkh territory.

Furthermore, I will provide instructions on how to quickly obtain all Karkh Gear Chests in the video game developed by Ubisoft Bordeaux, following the same order as on the map above.

Where To Find All Karkh Gear Chests in AC Mirage

Remember that the Gear Chests’ contents are divided into three distinct chests: the first one will always have the item itself, and the following two will have the Upgrade Schematics for that item. Also, if you’re struggling to get any of the Karkh Gear Chests, please refer to our detailed guides hyperlinked in the table below.

Gear Chest:How To Get:
1.To obtain The Bazaar Gear Chest in AC Mirage, you must progress the main story until you finish the Gilded Butterflies main quest. Alternatively, you can throw a knife through the diamond-shaped wooden window to unbar the door and gain access to the Gear Chest.
2.To access the Gear Chest in the Tax Collector’s Mansion, use Basim’s Eagle Vision to locate an armored guard with the Tax Collector’s Mansion Door Key. Then, use the key to open the door west of the chest. Climb up the stairs to find and loot the Gear Chest.
3.The Great Garrison Gear Chest can be found above the main gate of the fortress. Slide through the opening of the under-construction wall and climb up the scaffolding to reach the ramparts. Go to the opposite side of the tower containing the chest. Destroy the big jar and move the shelf to the left. Eliminate the armored guard and loot the Gear Chest.
4.You can easily find the Gear Chest on the ground level of the Officers’ Club, just beyond the guards at the front.
5.In order to reach the Qasr Salih Gear Chest in Assassin’s Creed Mirage, you must destroy the stone square on the roof of the tallest building. Pick one of the explosive pots on the lower roof, climb the crates on the right of the tower, and throw it on the breakable floor. Go through the hole and loot the nearby Gear Chest.
