Assassin’s Creed Mirage Holy Mission Monk’s Grave Tale of Baghdad

Announced at Ubisoft Forward on September 10, 2022, Assassin’s Creed Mirage is the thirteenth installment in the Assassin’s Creed series. The action-adventure stealth game was released on October 5, 2023, for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and Amazon Luna.

Assassin’s Creed Mirage takes place in 9th-century Baghdad and follows the story of Basim Ibn Ishaq, known from Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. Unlike its predecessor, Assassin’s Creed Mirage features reduced RPG elements, focusing on parkour, close-quarter combat, and stealth gameplay.

Set decades before Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, AC Mirage allows players to help Basim evolve from a street thief to a Hidden One. While smaller in size, Assassin’s Creed Mirage is a return to the AC series roots, allowing Basim to complete assassination missions throughout Baghdad, accompanied by his Eastern imperial eagle Enkidu. According to developers, the Assassin’s Creed Mirage main story takes 15-20 hours to complete, and it celebrates the 15th anniversary of the Assassin’s Creed franchise.

Holy Mission is the Assassin’s Creed Mirage Harbiyah Tale of Baghdad, which you’ll need to complete in the northern district you’ll get to visit as Basim. The AC Mirage Harbiyah Tale of Baghdad revolves around a Monk seeking help identifying a specific grave in the Nestorian Monastery.

Like Ma’Bad, you get to meet while playing the Curse of The Si’la’ Tale of Baghdad, the Nestorian Monastery Monk in Assassin’s Creed Mirage holds a secret. By completing the Holy Mission in the video game developed by Ubisoft, you’ll get to learn more about this unusual NPC and his true intentions.

Where To Find the Harbiyah Tale of Baghdad in AC Mirage

The Harbiyah Tale of Baghdad activity or side-mission in Assassin’s Creed Mirage can be found in the northernmost part of the district, between the Nestorian Monastery Viewpoint and the Greeks’ Gate landmark.

The Assassin’s Creed Mirage Harbiyah Tale of Baghdad starts in Nestorian Monastery.

You can see its location on the map above; however, I recommend obtaining the Lost Book in Nestorian Monastery before talking to the Monk in the cemetery. After getting the collectible, head to the cemetery and look for the NPC wearing black clothes. You should be able to hear him when you enter the cemetery.

Talk to the Monk in the cemetery

When talking to the Monk, he’ll tell you he needs Basim’s help to find a grave and pay his respects. When you ask him about the mace on his back, the Monk admits that he was a violent man in the past. Obviously, his weapon is not fit for a holy man.

This detail should raise some questions, but let’s see what happens next. As the Monk informs you, the grave he is looking for belongs to a holy man, but he can’t read the epitaphs on the graves because they are in a different language, which brings us to your objective.

Where To Find the Nestorian Monastery Monk’s Grave

While there are multiple graves you can interact with in the Nestorian Monastery graveyard, only one belongs to the holy man described by the Monk. The said grave is on the northern side of the cemetery, close to the river. As you can see below, this specific grave has some roses on the funeral stone.

The Nestorian Monastery Grave you must find is on the northern side of the graveyard.

Interact with the grave, and the Monk will rush to remove the bones inside. Even though he claims that the bones belong to his Church, he is still a graverobber. His action won’t go unnoticed by the local guards, so get ready to defeat three soldiers. Dispatch them quickly, then talk to the Monk again to complete the Holy Mission Tale of Baghdad.
