Assassin’s Creed Mirage‘s Karkh territory is home to six Gear Chests that contain valuable gear items and upgrade schematics for them. One of them is the Tax Collector’s Mansion Gear Chest, located on the western side of the Tabik district and Karkh territory.
Depending on the order you open the Monastery of the Virgins, Tax Collector’s Mansion, and Officer’s Club gear chests in Karkh territory, it can either be the Abbasid Knight Outfit or its upgrade schematics.
AC Mirage Tax Collector’s Mansion Chest Location
This Karkh Gear Chest in AC Mirage is located behind a locked door in the Tax Collector’s Mansion, north of the Monastery of the Virgins Viewpoint and southwest of the Karkh Bureau. You can check the exact location on the map below.
Unfortunately, the whole building is guarded by several enemies. Also, to unlock the door leading to the Gear Chest, you must find and retrieve the key from one of the enemies in the area. Here’s how you can do it.
How To Get the Tax Collector’s Mansion Gear Chest in Assassin’s Creed Mirage
To access the Tax Collector’s Mansion Gear Chest, start by using Basim’s Eagle Vision to locate an armored guard in the building complex who has the Tax Collector’s Mansion Door Key. This armored guard usually patrols at the back of the mansion. You can either pickpocket or assassinate him to obtain the key.
However, if you want to earn the You Snooze, You Lose trophy, I suggest you use the blowdart and pickpocket the key from the armored guard. It is important to use this tactic as the game presents only a few chances to do so, making it easy to miss this achievement. Once you have the Tax Collector’s Mansion Door Key, head to the west side of the gear chest and unlock the brown door.
Climb up the stairs to reach the room with the Gear Chest containing the Abbasid Knight Outfit or its Upgrade Schematic. The outfit has a unique park called Lick Your Wounds, which allows Basim to regenerate 1 percent health every 2 seconds while unseen, up to 50% of maximum health.
