Far Cry 6 San Telmo Lighthouse is another El Este landmark you should explore if you want to get your hands on a chest full of materials. Unlike the chests found at Ojeda Farm and San Antonio De Padua Cemetery, this one doesn’t require a key, but it’s still a bit confusing at first.
San Telmo Lighthouse Location
On the map below, you can notice that San Telmo is found on the southern coast of El Else. It is in the Conuco area, southwest of Maldito and southeast of Isabel Steppes Checkpoint.
Since San Telmo Lighthouse is not an FND base, chances are you’ll only encounter one or two soldiers here. Now, when you reach this location, you’ll notice a chest on your minimap. So, you may wonder where it is or how to get it.
Where To Find the San Telmo Lighthouse Chest
The Far Cry 6 San Telmo Chest is underground, so don’t waste your time looking for it outside. Instead, head west, and at the base of the fort, you’ll see a tunnel similar to the one in my screenshot.
Follow this specific tunnel, and then, on the right side, you’ll see a gate. You can ignore the ladder nearby. Now, to get the chest, you’ll want to shoot the locker on the gate and keep pushing forward. In the room on the other side, you’ll see the Far Cry 6 San Telmo Lighthouse stash in my screenshot.
Alongside the stash you need to retrieve, there is also a Torn Diary Note you may want to read. This is one of the Far Cry 6 Hidden Stories collectibles, and it’s part of the Heart of the Revolution Set. You’ll find it on the ground, on the left side, while facing the stash. After you clear this area, make sure you capture the Valle Prehistorico FND Base and get the chest there.
