Far Cry 6 Best Submachine Gun Locations Guide

Far Cry 6 features a total of 7 Unique Submachine Guns and 7 Regular SMGs you can unlock and use to take down Castillo’s forces on Yara. While the Regular Submachine Guns are relatively easy to unlock since you can buy them all, the 7 Far Cry 6 Unique SMGs must be found in specific locations. They are inside Yaran Contraband Chests, and throughout the guide below, we’ll discuss their locations.

Common Submachine Guns

Before we move to the unique Submachine Guns, it’s worth listing the Regular SMGs. The complete list includes the following:

• BP-SMG
• BZ19
• MP40
• MP5K
• MP34
• PPSH-41
• MP7

All of the Submachine Guns listed above can be purchased from the Guerilla Garrison or found in stashes. Since there are more stashes than weapons in Far Cry 6, getting these weapons is an easy job.

Unique Submachine Guns

The Unique Far Cry 6 SMGs, on the other hand, must be retrieved by visiting specific areas or landmarks. They are similar to the Unique Auto-Pistols, which means that you’ll need to do some legwork to get them. Here is where to find them in Ubisoft’s video game.

Turn Of The Century

Hint: Search Resplandor Agriculture in Palma Forest

Far Cry 6 Turn Of The Century Unique Submachine Gun is in Madrugada Region. Specifically Lozania. As you can see on my map below, you’ll need to reach the Resplandor Agriculture landmark where the Codename: Hornbill Ambush takes place. After you complete the Ambush, check the large storehouse, and you’ll see the Yaran Contraband chest sitting on some wooden crates.

SMG-Issimo

Hint: Search La Raja Bar in Fuego Valley

SMG-Issimo Unique Submachine Gun is also found in Madrugada and Lozania. Precisely in La Raja Bar, marked on my map below. As you can see, it’s northwest of Hideout Trova. Visit the marked location, and you’ll find the Yaran Chest on a wooden crate near the bar. It’s outside and relatively easy to spot.

Streamline Moderne

Hint: Search the FND 2ND Armored Division in Palma Forest

Far Cry 6 Streamline Moderne Unique Submachine Gun is another weapon found in Madrugada and Lozania. Precisely in the FND 2ND Armored Division Camp on my map below. DIY Death

Hint: Search Concepcion

DIY Death Unique Submachine Gun is in Concepcion, a small city in the Conuco area part of El Este Region. Concepcion is the town where Dani meets Yelena Morales. The weapon is found in a garage at the location marker on my map (the northeastern side of Concepcion). Look for it on a shelf between two cars.

The Heroic End

Hint: Search The People’s Pride Clinic in Dorado Cove

Heroic End Unique Submachine Gun is on the northern coast of El Este in La Joya. The weapon is in the tents behind the People’s Pride Clinic, marked on my map. Clear the area, then check the green tents to find the weapon on a table.

Iron Curtain

Hint: Search the waters near El Tigre Dormido Hotel in Cape Santa Maria

Far Cry 6 Iron Curtain Unique Submachine Gun is found west of El Tigre Dormido Hotel in Valle De Oro (pictured below). Jump into the water, and you’ll see the Yaran Contraband Chest at the bottom of the sea, between some algae.

Carriage Carnage

Hint: Search the destroyed railway bridge near the Castillo National Zoo

Carriage Carnage Submachine Gun is on top of the broken bridge in the middle of Ancha Lake (pictured). The said lake is located just north of Feroza Town in Valle De Oro. Although you can climb the vines to get on top of the bridge, this location is best approached via helicopter. Land on the bridge, then check the red train container.
