If you wish to unlock the Far Cry 6 Secret Ending, then your goal is to find your way to Miami, which is a task way easier than you think, provided you know when you can do this and obviously how. The Far Cry 6 Hidden Ending is not only amusing if approached correctly but also mandatory if you intend to get all Xbox achievements or PlayStation Trophies.
That’s because getting to Miami in Far Cry 6 allows you to unlock the Hidden In Plain Sight achievement/trophy, which is missable. As such, below, we’ll talk about the Far Cry 6 Hidden In Plain Sight trophy/achievement and how you can help Dani get to Miami.
How To Get To Miami In Far Cry 6
There is absolutely no secret that Dani’s dream is to reach Miami because she clearly wants to get away from Yara and enjoy some sun while drinking a cocktail on the beach. And that’s exactly what she’s going to do, as you can see above.
But first, she needs to get to that beach. This will obviously lead to a sudden ending of the game. The good thing, though, is that by traveling to Miami, you won’t lose the items you already gathered, no matter when you do it. So don’t worry about this at all.
Now, the best time to get to Miami in Far Cry 6 is after you leave Isla Santuario. As you probably know, Isla Santuario is the first area you’ll get to explore. Once you leave the island, if you follow the story, you’ll get to Zamok Archipelago and to Libertad Island.
This is basically your HQ, which is a cozy place but not as cozy as the beach you are going to visit next. So the moment you complete the Libertad Rises Main Operation, you’ll end up on a dock where Juan and Clara will give to the keys to an “amazing” boat. In fact, it’s a wreck, as you can see below, but it will get Dani to Miami.
How To Unlock Hidden In Plain Sight Achievement/Trophy
Good, so now that you have a boat, it’s time to hit the waves and leave Yara behind for good. So hop inside the boat, open your map, and head west.
There is no specific spot you’ll need to reach, and don’t worry about the distance between you and the edge of the map. You don’t actually have to get to the edge, but it is mandatory to head west, not east.
As you depart Yara, you’ll hear Dani saying that it is not her/his fight. So basically, what you are doing right now is running like a coward, but it’s Miami, so it’s worth it. Since you are not in a 5-star yacht, the whole trip will take several minutes, so sit back and enjoy the ride.
As you get close to the western side of the map, you’ll trigger a cutscene, and Dani’s dream becomes reality. And so is the fresh beer in my screenshot.
Once you find out what happens after you leave Yara, you’ll trigger the credits, and that’s about it. Obviously, this is not the proper way to finish the game, so once you watch the credits (you can skip them if you want), hit continue, and you’ll return to the same dock.
What you have to be aware of, though, is that you can’t travel to Miami after you finish the story because the game will stop you from taking this trip.
So, if you want to see the secret Far Cry 6 Ending, do it before completing the last Main Operation. Last but not least, you can use whatever boat you want as well as any type of aircraft. Just make sure you head west because that’s where Miami is located in Far Cry 6.
