Resident Evil Village (RE8) Attic Item Locations

Resident Evil 8 Village Castle Dimitrescu Attic section is a lot richer when it comes to hidden items, and you’ll need to find a total of 7 to get Search Completed or to turn this area blue. If you checked the full Castle Dimitrescu Collectibles guide, you may remember that there is a Goat of Warding here and a File collectible.

On top of this, here, you’ll also find the Attic Treasure Map that will eventually allow you to get the Dimitrescu Castle Treasure in the Dungeon. Now, let’s see how to clear the Resident Evil Village Castle Attic and get the Search Completed blue marker on the map.

Remember that this section is accessed via the Atelier, where you must find two hidden items. Once you do that, follow the corridor behind Dimitrescu’s Portrait and use the ladder to get to the Attic.

Goat Of Warding (Collectible)

The first item you should not miss is a Collectible. Or a Goat of Warding you can destroy the moment you enter the Attic. Just turn around to see it the moment you climb the ladder. As you can see, it’s on some crates.

Crate & Treasure Map

The next two items are placed next to each other on the table in front of you. Both of them can be observed in my screenshot. From the crate, you can pick some Handgun Ammo, while the Treasure Map allows you to open the Special Chamber in Castle B1. You can follow this guide to claim the treasure.

Lockpick

Awesome, now let’s get a Lockpick. From the table above (while facing it), turn left and look in the northeastern corner of the room for a small dead end. Notice the crates in my image below. On them, you’ll find the Lockpick.

Gunpowder

Once you get the previous item, head back to the small table, then turn right to spot a small wooden box. It’s on the right side of the Attic as you enter. Inside this box is some Gunpowder.

Rumors of a Dagger File (Collectible)

After you find the Gunpowder, head to the other side of the room (southwest on your map). Here, you’ll see a table with the Rumors of a Dagger File, which counts as a collectible.

F2 Rifle (Weapon)

Now, you are free to get out of the Attic, and on your way toward the next section (Rooftops), you can find a new weapon. The F2 Rifle sits on a chair as you exit the Attic. It’s quite hard to miss.

After you get all Resident Evil 8 Village Attic items above, you’ll get Search Completed, and you enter the Rooftops where one of the items is really tricky.
