Resident Evil Village (RE8) Opera Hall Item Locations

Resident Evil 8 Castle Dimitrescu Opera Hall Search Completed requires six hidden items you’ll need to find if you wish to get the blue marker on your in-game map. The Resident Evil Village Opera Hall is quite easy to navigate, but you’ll need to be extra careful because you can miss some Crafting Materials, Ammo, Lei, and a Crystal Fragment that is pretty tricky to notice.

The Resident Evil Village Opera Hall comes with a lot of items you don’t want to miss. As such, the guide below covers all of them, and I am also going to tell you what you have to do in this area. Remember that you’ll arrive in the hall after you open the door in the Courtyard, where more hidden items can be spotted.

Assuming you go all of them and you follow the Castle Dimitrescu Collectibles guide, then you most likely have Dimitrescu’s Key, which opens the northern wing. Now, you also have to make sure you get all breakable windows in this area and, obviously, all the collectibles I have covered in the guide above. Even if they don’t count toward the Search Completed objective, we discuss them here. Once you have those, you’ll also need to get the following.

Metal Scrap (Crafting Material)

Inside the chimney (Opera Hall 1F), there is some Metal Scrap. The chimney is behind the piano, where you need to complete a rather easy puzzle to obtain the Insignia Key.

Gunpowder (Crafting Material)

Several steps away from the previous item, you’ll find some Gunpowder. It is located on the green chair in the corner of the room (right side) from the chimney above.

Money (Lei)

Good, so after you get the Gunpowder, play the piano and retrieve the Insignia Key (use this guide to solve the puzzle if needed). With the key retrieved, go towards the stairs leading to Opera Hall 2F. The next item for Search Completed is some Money in the vase under the stairs, although you may also receive Ammo from it.

After you get this vase, you’ll be able to see the Opera Hall 1F Search Completed blue marker on your map. So now let’s check the second floor.

Sniper Rifle Ammo

As you reach the top of the stairs, turn right to see the cabinet below. There is a drawer here that requires a Lockpick. If you don’t have one, complete all objectives in the Castle, up to the point where you have to place the masks in the Hall of The Four.

There are several lockpicks scattered around in different rooms. Get back here when you have one, but do not place the masks before opening this cabinet because you will leave Castle Dimitrescu for good. In this drawer, you will find some Sniper Rifle Ammo.

Crystal Fragment (Treasure)

The next item is the trickiest and probably the last Opera Hall item you’ll need. From the previous location, turn around and move around the central area. On the left side, you will see a chamber with a small table inside. Look to the ceiling to spot a glowing dot. It is a Crystal Fragment you need to shoot, and it will drop on the table. The room in question is at the southernmost point of Opera Hall 2F.

Flower Swords Ball – Key Item

The final Opera Hall item is the Flower Swords Ball, used to solve the Labyrinth Puzzle. It’s quite easy to find if you check the window in the northernmost room on the second floor.

Now, once you pick this up, you’ll get the Opera Hall Search Completed blue marker on your map; however, there are two additional things you should know:

• There are more Opera Hall Windows you should break for the Hooligan trophy/achievement, as I have explained in this guide
• There are three additional items you can find in the corridor between Opera Hall 2F and the Library. The first one (Gunpowder) is inside the cabinet on the right side. The second one (Handgun Ammo) is found several steps away in a drawer. And finally, you have the Grand Chambermaid’s Notice near the second item in the corridor.
