Drawbridge is one of the Resident Evil 8 Village sections that is best approached after you deal with Moreau in the video game developed by Capcom since it requires a Key Item obtained from the Reservoir. The Resident Evil Village Drawbridge area is quite rich in hidden items, and it also features a  lake where you can find fish for cooking, including Finest Fish.

As such, throughout the guide below, we’ll approach the Resident Evil 8 Village Drawbridge items’ locations in case you want to collect all of them in a single run.

How To Lower Drawbridge in Resident Evil 8 Village

To be able to get most of the items in the following guide, you’ll need to acquire the Crank from the Reservoir. As you may remember, this is one of the items found in Moreau’s Drowned Houses section we covered here.

Next, you’ll want to complete the third boss fight and return to the Village. Once you do that, you’ll be able to use the Crank on the Drawbridge. So, start from the Altar where Duke is located, and head west. Cross the Lone Road (collecting all items outlined in this guide), then follow the stairs on the right side.

In order to keep the guide to the point and easy to follow, simply approach the items below in the exact same order. All of them can be acquired in a single run, so make sure you get them as soon as you return from the Reservoir.

Goat Of Warding

As you descend the stairs between Lone Road and Drawbridge, the moment you reach the lower section, turn left. Under the stairs, there is a small room. Get inside, then turn left to spot this Goat of Warding.

Breakable Crate

After you get the previous Collectible, use the Crank on the cog nearby and lower the bridge. Cross it and look for a Breakable Crate on the right side the moment you cross the bridge.

Now, head downstairs and take the boat. You already have the Boat Key obtained in the Reservoir Mines (as explained). Turn the boat around and head south. On the right side, you’ll see a dock. There is only one, so you can’t miss it. Disembark, and you’ll reach a new area.

Fish & Finest Fish

Immediately after you disembark, you’ll see a small crossroad ahead. Turn left to spot the pond in my image below.

Here, you’ll notice three fish. Kill all of them, and you’ll obtain 2 Fish and 1 Finest Fish. Don’t miss them. Next, turn around and follow the path up the hill until you see a cave on the left side. Squeeze inside and follow the linear path. When you enter, you’ll be alone, but things will change a bit when you try to exit.

Flashbang, Explosive Round & Mines

Once you reach the other side of the cave, you’ll find a hidden camp full of useful items. On the right side, you’ll see a green crate (pictured).

Approach it and collect the following items:

  • 1 Flashbang
  • 2 Mines
  • 1 Explosive Round

Handgun Ammo, Antique Coin, W870 TAC Foregrip & Analysis Results Collectible

Now, turn around and search the other pile of items. You should also be able to see a laptop.

From the second crate pictured above, you can get:

  • 30 Handgun Ammo (by the microscope)
  • 1 Antique Coin (near the metal box)
  • W870 TAC – Foregrip (inside the box)
  • Analysis Results Collectible File (stored in the laptop)

After you clear this cave, the Search Completed blue marker appears on your map, and you are free to return to the Village and sell the Antique Coin to Duke. Simply take the boat back to the dock north of Lone Road and continue your journey; however, using the same boat, you can also reach two new houses that you don’t want to miss.

Both are located north of the cave you have already explored. The first one is the Craftman’s House near the Tower of Worship, and the second one is the Riverbank Treasure House, north of the Vineyard.
