Resident Evil Village (RE8) Opera Hall Piano Puzzle Solution

Resident Evil 8 Village Castle Dimitrescu Opera Hall Piano Puzzle is the second major puzzle you need to figure out while exploring Castle Dimitrescu in the video game developed by Capcom, and just like the previous one (Hall of Ablution Statues Puzzle), it is a mandatory riddle you have to solve in order to help Ethan find Rose.

The good thing about the Resident Evil Village Piano Puzzle is that it’s easier to complete, and below, I’ll tell you how the Piano works and how to get the Iron Insignia Key. But first, let’s see how to get there.

Again, assuming you followed my Resident Evil 8 Village Castle Dimitrescu Collectibles guide, you already know that by following the story, you can get all Key Items and all collectibles in a single run. The most important one for this puzzle is Dimitrescu’s Key, which is obtained in the room where you see Lady Dimitrescu talking on the phone. Once she leaves, you can find the key below hanging on a wall by the window.

Using the said key, you will try to leave Dimitrescu’s Chamber. Obviously, things will take an interesting turn, and you’ll end up being chased by her. Eventually, the chase will lead you sooner or later to the Hall of Sorrow, where you’ll find the Mask of Sorrow. The moment you pick it up, you’ll return to the Courtyard.

Now, using Dimitrescu’s Key, you’ll need to head to the northern wing or door. There are only three doors here, so pick the northern one, and you’ll enter a new room. As you go up the stairs, you’ll eventually get to the Opera Hall.

Here, there are two important items you’ll need to get besides the collectibles I already outlined. The first one is the Flower Swords Ball that is used to solve The Labyrinth Puzzle. The second one is the Iron Insignia Key, which is inside the Piano. I will explain below.

Opera Hall Piano Puzzle Solution

Good, so now that you are in the Opera Hall, head downstairs, and you’ll surely find the Piano in question.

To solve the puzzle, which, as said, is a bit easier than all other puzzles, you’ll need to examine it and obviously play it.

How To Play The Piano In The Opera Hall

When you sit on the chair, you will see a song and some of the piano keys. The idea behind this puzzle is quite easy:

• Whenever you press a key, you’ll see an orange dot on the scale
• The keys on the left side lower the dot’s position
• The keys on the right side will make the dot go up on the scale
• Your goal is to match the orange dot with the black ones on the musical notes

If you want to complete the piano puzzle faster, you can do this simply by mashing the piano keys until the orange dot matches the black ones on the scale. However, to go the extra mile, I have added all the keys you need to push in the screenshots below. As you can see, they are highlighted, and the orange dot is on the black ones. Simply press the same keys on the Piano.

Once you are done playing the song by pressing the keys listed above, a secret drawer appears, and inside, you’ll find the Iron Insignia Key in Resident Evil 8 Village. This key is quite important, and it will help to explore the castle further.
