If you’re looking to upgrade your Suit Tech in Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, then you’ll definitely want to discover the Prowler Stashes. One of these valuable stashes can be found in Astoria, and unlocking it is quite a process that I’ll guide you through step by step.
Inside each Prowler Stash, you’ll always find three Rare Tech Parts. Not only that but opening these stashes also contributes to your District Progress, which comes with its own set of rewards, including rare Tech Parts when you reach the first milestone.
These Rare Tech Parts are crucial for upgrading your suit tech, which boosts your Health, Damage, Focus, and Traversal – all of which play an important role in your adventures around the city.
Where To Find the Astoria Prowler Stash in Spider-Man 2
The Astoria Prowler Stash is located in the southernmost part of the Astoria district, right on the border with Downtown Queens. It is situated on a large, white building with a rather intricate shape.
When you are in close proximity, it will be marked on your map and radar with a pink Prowler icon, and you’ll spot a pink glow coming off from its rooftops.
How To Get the Coin-Op Prowler Stash in Astoria
To locate the Prowler Code, make your way to the highlighted lowest rooftop and carefully scan your surroundings. The one you seek is situated between the other two near a ladder among the three white panels.
Scan it and complete the adaptive trigger minigame by gently holding the yellow dots within the grey patches using the 
and 
buttons. Then, pull the panel by holding the 
and 
buttons, as shown in the image below.
To gain access to the Astoria Prowler Stash, it is necessary to overload the circuit of four purple Electric Panels using the Chain Lightning ability (hold +
), all within a span of 60 seconds. Let me show you where you can find all four Electric Panels.
Electric Panel #1 & #2
The first electric panel box is located right next to the Prowler Stash door, making it easily accessible. Also, the second electric panel can be found behind and above the door, as shown in the image below.
Electric Panel #3
To locate the third Electric Panel, simply climb the wall where the second one is situated. Once you reach the top, you’ll find it on the right side of the little structure with a large black AC unit above it.
Electric Panel #4
For the fourth and final Electric Panel, turn around from the previous one and make your way up to the top of the black section of the building. Once you’re up there, you’ll notice a different structure on the rooftop. The Electric Panel is on its south side, as pictured in the image below.
So, once you know the locations of all four electric panels, it’s a piece of cake to zap them all in under a minute. I recommend starting from the top and working your way down. I have discovered that it is much easier to do it that way.
Now, when you venture into the Prowler Stash, brace yourself for some serious loot. You’ll stumble upon three Rare Tech Parts, which are like gold dust for upgrading your Suit Tech. Oh, and as a little bonus, you’ll also rack up a cool 300 XP for your stash-finding skills.
