West of Central Park, in the Upper West Side District of Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, you have to look for three Spider-Bot collectibles. The Dusk, Spider-Girl, and Secret Wars Spiderbots are all required to get 100% completions and are the only collectibles that don’t get marked on your map.

Chronologically, the Spider-Man 2 Upper West Side Spider-Bots unlock after the Photo Ops and the Prowler Stashes at the end of the 12th main mission (Science Buddy) featured in the video game developed by Insomniac Games. They reward XP and Tech Parts and if you manage to find all three of them, you’ll be able to unlock the Upper West Side fast-travel option.

Where To Find the Three Upper West Side Spider-Bots in Spider-Man 2

The three Spider-Bots in the Upper West Side are scattered throughout the district: two on the southern side and one on the northern side. For our guide to be as helpful as possible, we have marked the locations of the three collectibles on the following map.

Here is where to find them while playing the game.

Secret Wars Spider-Bot #1: On a Building Near the Northern Park

The first Upper West Side Spider-Bot in Spider-Man 2 is found on a building near the northern park. After you reach the spot marked above, look east while in the middle of the park, and you’ll see the pink pulse of the bot on a red building. Climb the wall to collect the bot and reveal its description: “I feel like this one’s seen some things. Secret things.”

This Spider Bot references the limited series Marvel Super Heroes Secret Wars American comic book crossover from 1985.

Spider-Girl Spider-Bot #2: On Top of a Skyscraper by the Southern Waterfront

The Spider-Girl bot, or the second Spider-Man 2 Spider-Bot in Upper West Side, is on top of a skyscraper on the southwestern side of the district. It’s pretty easy to collect since all you have to do is to climb the wall, moving upwards. Once you reach the location on my map, look east to spot it.

After collecting the little bot, you can check its description (Would you look at that – this one has May’s favorite colors), referencing May Parker, the Spider-Girl superheroine who debuted in February 1998.

Dusk Spider-Bot #3: On a Roof

For the last Spider-Man 2 Upper West Side Spider-Bot, head east of the previous location, and before reaching the Central Park District, look around for another skyscraper. Climb to the top, and you should be able to spot the glowing pink pulse of the collectible. The bot is on the building’s northwestern upper wall, as shown below.

The third Upper West Side Spiderbot is on the roof of a skyscraper in the northeastern corner of the map.

After picking up the Dusk Spiderbot, check its hilarious description: “I don’t think I’ve ever seen something this dark. Maybe I’m not even seeing it.” This is another reference for the Dusk identity (costume/character), which debuted in September 1998.
