After all that went down in Miles Morales’s game, it looks like the Prowler has decided to call it quits by the time Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 rolls around. Bummer, right? But don’t worry, because even though he’s retired from the action, he has a few surprises for his superhero nephew.

It turns out that before he hung up his hood, the Prowler stashed a bunch of resource caches all over the city. And guess what? During the Amends primary story mission, he will explain how to find and open them so you can snag some awesome goodies.

Trust me, this will be one of the best ways to get your hands on those Rare Tech parts you need to upgrade your Spidey tech. So, during the Amends main story mission in the Upper West Side, you will come across the first Prowler Stash in Spiderman 2. Here’s where to find it and how to open it.

Where To Find the Upper West Side Prowler Stash in Spider-Man 2

The Prowler Stash in the Upper West Side is situated on the rooftops of a building in the northeast corner of the district. You can check the map below for the exact location or follow the objective marker within the game.

You can find this Prowler Stash in the northeast corner of the Upper West Side district.
You will see the rooftop highlighted in pink when a Prowler Stash is nearby.

When you’re near the Prowler Stash, you’ll notice a glowing outline on a section of a building, usually the rooftop. This outline marks the zone where the stash is located. Simply enter the area and solve a little puzzle to reveal its location and claim your rewards. Here’s how you can do it.

How To Get the Prowler Stash in Upper West Side

Once you land within the boundaries of the outlined area, Aaron will notify you about the new technology he has installed in your lenses. This technology allows you to access his hidden stashes scattered across the city.

To use it, hold down the - GameClubz button to zoom in and scan the area. Focus on the upper platform between the two rooftops, as that’s where the action is. Approach the large metal panel and scan the wall on its right side. You will notice a cluster of green orbs, which are invisible unless you hold down the - GameClubz button.

Scan the wall on the right side of the panel for the Prowler Code.

While holding - GameClubz, continue to scan the orbs until you trigger a minigame. In the minigame, you must use the adaptive triggers by pulling on - GameClubz and - GameClubz with different pressures to align the yellow dots in each bar. Do this with both dots simultaneously until the dots hover over the gray area long enough.

Scan the glowing orbs and complete the adaptive trigger minigame.

If you succeed, a purple outline of the metal panel will appear. To align the panel with the purple orbs, go to the right side, as close to the railing as possible, and hold - GameClubz+- GameClubz. This will reveal another gate behind it.

Pull the metal panel by holding L1 and R1 buttons simultaneously.

Scan the rusty gate behind the metal panel by holding - GameClubz again and complete another adaptive trigger minigame. Once you are successful, make your way to the rooftop on the opposite side of the gate and pull it up by holding - GameClubz+- GameClubz, as shown in the picture below.

After succesfully scanning the second gate and completing another minigame, pull the gate from the rooftop.

After dropping back down, enter the stash room and locate the safe on the right-hand wall. Interact with it to obtain 3 Rare Tech Parts and earn 300 XP. Aaron informs you that these stashes contain old suit prototypes and encourages you to keep any tech you come across.

Once you open the new Suit Tech tab in the menu, you will receive a tutorial on how to upgrade different aspects of both Miles and Peter’s abilities. These upgrades include Health, Damage, Focus, and Traversal. Last but not least, since you’re in the neighborhood, make sure to grab the Upper West Side Photo Op as well.
