Elden Ring Auriza Side Tomb is a side dungeon found in Lyndell, the Capital City of the Altus Plateau region, and home to the Grave Warden Duelist boss. Be careful not to confuse this with the Auriza Hero’s Grave. The gimmick of Auriza Side Tomb is its Teleporter chests, which teleport you across inaccessible places.
Also, what’s interesting about this tomb is that it has two copies of the exact set of rooms where the chests will help you travel between them. Therefore, in this guide, we will walk you through the Auriza Side Tomb, help you collect all the items inside, and show you how to reach the boss room in the video game developed by FromSoftware.
Where To Find the Auriza Side Tomb
Auriza Side Tomb can be found on the northeast side of Lyndell, the Capital City of the Altus Plateau region.
To reach the Auriza Side Tomb, use the northern Lyndell road to the east side and explore the cliffs. You will also notice a statue pointing toward the tomb while exploring the cliffs.
If you proceed in the indicated direction, passing under the bridge between the cliffs, you will find the Auriza Hero’s Grave on the right side and the door to the Auriza Side Tomb on the left, inside the cliffs.
A large Runebear protects the entrance to the Auriza Side Tomb, so you can either run past it or try to defeat it.
Once inside Auriza Side Tomb, proceed forward until you reach a large closed door. That door will lead you to the boss’s chamber, but you must first pull a lever to open it. Continue forward by taking the path on the right side.
Clear the area of the living jars, collect the Grave Glovewort [6], and follow the way to the north until you reach a room with a chest inside. When you open the chest, you will be teleported to another chest. Head forward from this location to reach the starting room of the tomb.
You can also get here if you leap out the window in the previous room with the living jars. Right under the stairs, you can find a Grave Glovewort [6] guarded by a Jade Imp. Pass the stairs, turn left, and continue forward via a small passageway until you reach a large cell in front of you.
Also, be wary of the Jade Imps throwing pots at you from the higher floors. From here, you must turn right and proceed until you enter a Chapel and notice a chest in front of you. When you open the chest, you will be taken to a cell filled with water and two Giant Living Jars defending the place.
After defeating them, collect the loot around the cell to obtain Cracked Pots and the Perfumer’s Cookbook [3]. Once you’re done, open the Teleporter trap chest in the area, and it will teleport you back to the Chapel. Enter the room on the right side of the Chapel, behind the illusory wall, and open the chest there.
Be careful with the explosives living jars rushing into you, and don’t forget to pick up the Grave Glovewort [5] that’s in your way. This chest will teleport you to a path above where the Jade Imps threw stuff at you.
Kill the Jade Imps and collect the Golden Rune from the corpse sitting against the wall. Once you’re done, jump down off the path back to the Chapel and open the chest from here. Open the chest in the Chapel to travel to the giant cell area.
After killing the explosive living jars, you can collect some Cracked Pots and a Grave Glovewort [6]. After collecting them, use the ladder going up. When you reach the top, proceed forward until you find a statue at the end with a lever in front of it.
Pull the lever and pick up the Grave Glovewort [6] in your way. From here, jump down, head to the east, up the stairs, and open the chest in the room.
Return to the Tomb entrance, where you will see the giant door is opened. Go through the door to enter the boss’s chamber. Grave Warden Duelist is the boss you’ll face at the Auriza Side Tomb.
This boss has several living jars that will attack you, so be wary of them. Don’t forget to use your summoning ashes because it will make a big difference. After defeating him, you will receive 15.000 Runes and Soldjars of Fortune Ashes.
