Elden Ring Spirit Calling Bell is an essential item required for summoning spirits from ashes, but you’ll have to jump through a couple of hoops to get it.
Don’t worry, though, because, in this guide, we will walk you through the entire process, including how to get the Spirit Calling Bell and summon spirits with ashes, one of the greatest features in FromSoftware’s most anticipated game of 2022. Here is what the Spirit Calling Bell looks like in Elden Ring.
Where to Find the Spirit Calling Bell
To find the Elden Ring Spirit Calling Bell, you’ll have to head North of the Stranded Graveyard.
You should be able to do this as soon as you enter the main world and eventually reach the Church of Elleh Site of Grace. When this happens, check the Church of Elleh location guide.
How To Get the Summoning Bell
Before trying to get this item, make sure you first unlock the level-up system simply by following the directions in the Elden Ring Leveling Up Guide. After you’ve done this, use the Gatefront Site of Grace (or any other Site of Grace) to head back to the Church of Elleh to advance nighttime. It’s worth noting that the time of day will automatically change the moment you use the Church of Elleh Site of Grace for the first time.
When you wake up, an NPC will appear and beckon you over. Her name is Renna. She’ll give you the Spirit Calling Bell and Lone Wolf Ashes if you talk to her.
How To Use the Spirit Bell To Summon Spirits
Equip summoning ashes as a consumable once the dialogue is finished. You can only use them in certain areas, and they cost FP just like any other spell. To equip the Spirit Calling Bell, you have to:
- Open the Main Menu
- Select Equipment
- Select one of the ten Quick Items slots
- Equip Lone Wolf Ashes
To summon Spirits, press Down on Dpad (consoles) or ↓ on (PC) to select the spell you want to use. Then press the use button (R on PC, X on Xbox, or ☐ on PlayStation).
