Elden Ring Smoldering Church is a minor landmark found in northern Caelid, and it is one of the first places you’ll get to explore when traveling east from Limgrave.

A small ruined church, Elden Ring Smoldering Church, may not look important at first sight; however, just by visiting this landmark, you can get your hands on four key items.

So, let’s see what you can get from this old church before heading deeper into Caelid’s rotten heart.

You can access this church in the video game developed by FromSoftware, via the northern path that connects Limgrave and Caelid.

Simply follow the path, and you’ll see it up on a small hill.

Smoldering Church Items Locations – Where To Find

Before approaching the Smoldering Church in Elden Ring, it’s worth knowing that you’ll trigger an invasion.

Specifically, you’ll be invaded by Anastasia, Tarnished-Eater below.

Elden Ring Anastasia Tarnished Eater Invasion Rewards

You’ll receive a Furlcalling Finger Remedy and the Sacred Scorpion Charm Talisman by defeating Anastasia.

Anastasia is relatively weak to magic in general, and although she may look fast, you can easily block her attacks.

After dealing with her, head inside the church and activate the Smoldering Church Site of Grace.

Last but not least, you should check the two corpses near the crates and the Site of Grace.

By looting these two corpses, you’ll get the Missionary’s Cookbook [3] and the Nomadic Warrior’s Cookbook [14].

After thoroughly exploring the Elden Ring Smoldering Church, it is recommended to check the Shack of the Rotting, located just across the path to the south.

There, you’ll want to find the Preserving Boluses that will eventually help you retrieve the Gold Scarab Talisman.
