Champion’s Song Painting is an Elden Ring key item you can find in Shaded Castle while exploring the north region of Altus Plateau in the game developed by FromSoftware for PC, Xbox, and PlayStation.
Like the previous paintings we discovered (Homing Instinct, Prophecy, Redmane, and Resurrection), the Elden Ring Champion’s Song Painting requires you to find a specific ghost admiring the same place as the one in the painting.
In this Elden Ring guide, we’ll show you where to find the Champion’s Song Painting as well as the place shown in the painting to complete the puzzle.
Where To Find Champion’s Song Painting in Shaded Castle
To find the Champion’s Song Painting, travel to The Shaded Castle in the Altus Plateau region. The Shaded Castle can be located in the northern part of the region, in a lake full of poisonous water and bog, near Mt Gelmir.
Once you arrive at the castle, proceed to the northeastern walls. To enter the Shaded Castle, use your horse to jump over the low part of the wall to get on top of the walls (check the image below).
Once on the castle’s walls, there is a stone pillar to the west that leads down into the courtyard with two corpses to loot. Next to the stone pillar, there is a wooden shack. Get inside the wooden shack by climbing the stairs to find the Champion’s Song Painting. Interact with the painting to add it to your inventory.
Where To Find the Location in the Champion’s Song Painting
You can examine the painting once it is in your inventory. This provides you with a better idea of the location we need to go to to find the painter. The painting portrays a statue with a vast mountain in the background. This statue is the entrance to a dungeon known as the Sainted Hero’s Grave.
To find the painter, go to the location marked on the map above, west of the capital walls and southeast of the Altus Tunnel. The closest Site of Grace is the Rampartside Path. The painter can be found sitting on the ridge, pointing west at the statue.
Once you get close to the painter, he will start vanishing, leaving behind the Harp Bow.
