Elden Ring Godrick’s Great Rune is a Great Rune that raises all attributes by +5. Great Runes are special items dropped by Demigod Bosses in the latest game developed by FromSoftware that can be equipped to get powerful passive bonuses. Godrick’s Great Rune is a reward for defeating Godrick the Grafted located at Stormveil Castle.

But, before you can equip the rune, you will need to restore its powers. With that in mind, in this guide, we will show you how you can restore Godrick’s Great Rune powers and how to activate them to aid you in battle.

How To Restore Godrick’s Great Rune Power

To restore Godrick’s Great Rune power, you will need to travel to the top of the Divine Tower of Limgrave.

As you see on the map above, the bridge to the Divine Tower of Limgrave is broken, but don’t worry; there’s still a way to get there. To reach the Tower, you will want to go to Limgrave Tower Bridge Site of Grace, located on the east side of Castle Stormveil.

The entrance to the bridge is protected by a miniboss known as Lion Guardian, which, upon defeat, will reward you with 1138 Runes, 1 x Somber Smithing Stone [1], 1 x Beast Blood, and 2 x Old Fang.

You can also loot the Boltdrake Talisman from a corpse lying on the stairs on your way to the bridge. As you progress on the Stormhill Bridge, you will notice Giant Golems rising from the ground. You have the option of fighting them or running through them. You can’t use your horse in this area.

If you kill the Giant Archer, you’ll have a chance to get the Golem Greatbow, and if you kill the two Giant Golems, you’ll have an opportunity to get the Golem’s Halberd. Interact with the little portal at the end of the bridge to get to the other side.

The portal will teleport you to the front steps of the Divine Tower of Limgrave. Open the door and step to the center to activate the lift. Light up the Site of Grace on your left and follow the stairs to the top. Interact with the rune to restore the power of the Great Rune.

You will then obtain Godrick’s Great Rune, ready to be equipped.

How To Use Godrick’s Rune

First, you will need to equip the Great Rune. To do that, teleport to any site of grace you want.

The “Great Runes” menu option will allow you to equip any Great Rune that you acquired, and you have already restored its powers to its Divine Tower. Now, equipping the Great Rune is not enough to activate its effects.

You will need a particular consumable that activates the effects of your equipped Great Rune, known as Rune Arc. After you use a Rune Arc, the Godrick’s Great Runes passive effect will be available until you die, and then you will have to use another Rune Arc to activate it again.

You can’t craft Rune Arcs, but you can farm them. For example, you will get 1 x Rune Arc for:

• Successfully defeating a boss when summoned during multiplayer
• Successfully beating a Host of Fingers as a Bloody Finger during multiplayer.
