Elden Ring Forsaken Ruins is a minor landmark found southeast of Shack Of The Rotting and Rotview Balcony in the Caelid region. While small, the Elden Ring Forsaken Ruins is quite important because here, you’ll find the Sword of St. Trina, a melee weapon you may need for the battles ahead. Therefore, let’s see how to get the Sword of St. Trina in Elden Ring and what else you can find in the Forsaken Ruins.

Where To Find the Forsaken Ruins

On the map below, you can notice that in the video game released by FromSoftware, Forsaken Ruins is found several steps away from Shack Of The Rotting and Rotview Balcony Site of Grace.

This area of Caelid can be accessed via the northern path traveling east from Limgrave. After you activate the Rotview Balcony Site of Grace, you’ll find a ghost overseeing the Forsaken Ruins. You can double jump from the said balcony to reach the ruins below or go around the cliffs (recommended).

However, first, you’ll have to deal with the giant crows nearby. Once you remove all of them, it’s time to explore the area.

Where To Find All Forsaken Ruins Items

The first item you may be interested in is the Smithing Stone [4] found on the corpse in the middle of the ruins (pictured below).

Once you retrieve the Smithing Stone, turn around and notice the corpse hanging on a window in the ruins nearby. This corpse carries a Golden Rune [5] you can collect. Just make sure you enter the ruins and access the corpse from the other side.

How To Get the Sword Of St. Trina

After getting the Golden Rune above, turn west and head to the large ruins nearby. Here, you’ll find several Trina’s Lilies and the entrance to the Forsaken Ruins Cellar or basement. Next to the entrance is an Imp Statue you can activate to remove the fog gate and gain access to the cellar,

As you probably know by now, for this statue, you need one Stonesword Key, which is a key item you can buy from merchants or find while exploring the world. If you need one fast, consider visiting the Isolated Merchant found west of Limgrave Walking Mausoleum because he sells 3 for 2000 Runes each.

Alternatively, you can get another one for free from the Stormhill Shack and another one from Castle Morne. When you have the key, return to the Imp Statue and use it to remove the fog blocking access to the Forsaken Ruins Cellar. Loot the chest inside, and you’ll get the Sword Of St. Trina, the last essential item you should collect from the Caelid Forsaken Ruins.
