Elden Ring Limgrave Beach Running Ghost is one of the many mysteries you’ll need to solve in FromSoftware’s video game developed for PlayStation, Xbox, and PC. While it may not look important at first sight, the Elden Ring Beach Running Ghost carries an important item you may need during your journey.
However, to get your hands on it, you’ll have to figure out how to deal with the Limgrave Beach white footprints or the running ghost. This task can become quite tedious unless you know what to do or how to approach the glowing footprints.
Where To Find the Glowing Ghost Footprints
To stop the beach running ghost, first, you need to know where to find it, and on the map below, you can see the exact location.
The Elden Ring ghost footprints are found on the western beach in the Limgrave area. Specifically, west of Stormfoot Catacombs. Before heading to the location on my map, it is recommended to unlock your mount Torrent and have a melee weapon equipped because it’s pretty hard to stop the ghost using spells or ranged weapons.
Great, so head to the spot marked on my map, and around three pillars, you’ll see the moving Elden Ring glowing footprints in my screenshot.
Now, the obvious question here is how to stop the running ghost or how to deal with the Elden Ring footprints on the beach.
How To Stop the Moving Invisible Beach Running Footprints
The first thing you’ll need to know about the strange footprints that move around on the beach is that they belong to an enemy, so Elden Ring’s invisible enemies exist. The good news is that they are pretty easy to defeat; however, they are impossible to target. For this ghost, you’ll notice that it’s running clockwise, following a fixed path.
But the footprints move fast, so it’s also impossible to stay close to them even if you’re riding. You need to stop the running ghost by cutting corners while riding and having a sword equipped. The idea here is to get close to the path followed by the ghost and strike it when the footprints are next to you.
A common mistake here is running after the footprints or even waiting to get close at a fixed location. While it may be possible to hit the ghost, you’ll waste quite some time. So chase the glowing footprints, but cut corners and mash the attack button when next to them.
Another option is to use a large sword and hit the air with a heavy attack, but a simple sword is the best choice for classes that can’t use heavy gear. If done correctly, you’ll one-hit the running ghost on the beach, and as you can see, you’ll unlock the Elden Ring Stamp (Sweep) Ash of War.
Did you manage to stop the glowing Elden Ring footprints on the beach? How did you do it?
Just using patience and attacking at the correct time. All you need.
Staying still and timing attack worked for me!
