Elden Ring Stargazers’ Ruins Spirit Jellyfish Puzzle Guide

Elden Ring Stargazers’ Ruins is a landmark found on the Mountaintops of the Giants. When you arrive at Stargazers’ Ruins in the video game developed by FromSoftware, you’ll notice a set of stairs leading to an underground cellar, but you can’t get in until you solve the Spirit Jellyfish riddle.

In order to open the seal, you must help the Spirit Jellyfish monster standing near the staircase. In this guide, we will help you solve the Stargazers’ Ruins riddle to get past the sealed door.

Where To Find the Stargazers’ Ruins

Stargazers’ Ruins can be found on the Mountaintops of the Giants, northeast of the Ancient Snow Valley Ruins Site of Grace, and on a higher level.

To reach Stargazers’ Ruins from the Ancient Snow Valley Ruins Site of Grace, follow the path until you reach the ravine. From here, head east, and you should see on the left, past the Halberd Golems, a ramp that leads to the Freezing Lake Site of Grace.

Activate it and proceed west until you reach the bridge that leads to the Stargazers’ Ruins.

How To Solve the Stargazers’ Ruins Spirit Jellyfish Puzzle

As you enter the ruins’ main building, you will hear a woman’s voice murmuring, “Sister… Where did you go?”. The voice comes from the nearby Spirit Jellyfish, standing near the staircase leading to the dungeon’s cellar.

NOTE: If you accidentally killed the Spirit Jellyfish, head to a Site of Grace and rest. It will respawn at the exact location.

She calls for Aurelia, her sister, which happens to be in the form of Spirit Ashes. Open your inventory and summon Spirit Jellyfish Ashes to reunite the siblings and break the seal.

Spirit Jellyfish Ashes can be obtained during Roderika’s Questline. After they vanish and head to see the stars, you will be rewarded with the Fancy Spin Gesture, and the seal inside the dungeon will be broken. Past the broken seal, you will find a chest containing the Primal Glintstone Blade Talisman; when equipped, spells consume less FP, but maximum HP is reduced.

Also, before you leave the area, a corpse holding 2x Freezing Grease can be found on the eastern side of the ruins.
