Sorcerer Painting is a key item you can find in Castle Sol while exploring the northern region of the Mountaintops Of The Giants.
Like the previous Elden Ring paintings (Homing Instinct, Prophecy, Redmane, Resurrection, Champion’s Song, and Flightless Bird), the Sorcerer Painting requires you to find the painter in a ghost form pointing in the direction of the same place as the one in the painting.
Therefore, in this guide, we will show you where you can find the Sorcerer Painting in Castle Sol and the painter’s location to solve the puzzle in the video game developed by FromSoftware.
Where To Find Sorcerer Painting in Castle Sol
The Sorcerer Painting can be found inside the central building in the main courtyard of Castle Sol, behind a locked door. The painting can only be obtained by entering the central building through an entrance on the top, as the main door is closed from the inside.
Head into the courtyard from the Castle Sol Main Gate Site of Grace, hugging the western wall as you pass over wooden barricades. Climb up the stairs, head east, and before the wooden bridge, there is a room filled with Skeletal Slimes and a ladder that will allow you to climb on top of the ramparts.
Continue west on the ramparts until you reach a wooden bridge that connects to the central building. Be wary of the spectral Exile enemies mounted on the Ballistas shooting arrows.
Once you reach the top of the central building, descend the ladder from the roof to collect the Sorcerer Painting. You can add the painting to your inventory by interacting with it.
Where To Find the Location in the Sorcerer Painting
The Painter of the Sorcerer Painting can be found on a bridge leading to the Stargazers Ruins. Travel southwest from Castle Sol Main Gate to the bridge northwest of the Stargazers Ruins.
Along the bridge, there is a small platform on the eastern side where you can find the painter’s ghost. Once you get close to the painter, he will start vanishing, leaving behind the Greathood Helm.
