Elden Ring Liurnia Converted Tower Puzzle Solution
Inside the tower, you will find a statue with a riddle on the ground that says, “May erudition light the way!”
Next to the statue, there’s the seal you need to unlock by solving the puzzle.
To solve the riddle, make the Erudition gesture in front of the door while wearing any Glintstone Crown.
NOTE: The Azur, Lusat, Hiama, and Hierodas Glintstone Crowns do not work for this puzzle.
You can obtain the Erudition gesture by giving Thops an Academy Glintstone Key at the Church of Irith (covered in-depth here).
Also, refer to the Sorcerer Thops quest guide to obtain the gesture.
The room at the top of the stairs will summon an Arcane Sphere of Faces enemy, a creature that suspends itself in the air and uses sorcery to defend its area.
It can also fire missiles into the air, which fall to the ground and explode, delivering massive damage.
After the fight, take the elevator up to get to the chest at the top and collect the Gavel of Haima and Cannon of Haima Sorceries.
If you want to fully complete the area, from the room’s balcony where you defeated the Arcane Sphere of Faces enemy, jump down in the back of the tower and loot the corpse holding three Crystal Darts.
