Elden Ring Golden Seeds are unique items that allow you to upgrade the number of Crimson and Cerulean Flask Uses but not the amount of Wondrous Physik flasks available. Your Crimson Flask is used to replenish Health, and Cerulean Flask is used to replenish FP (Focus Points), the same as in previous FromSoftware games.
This means that the Golden Seeds play an essential role when it comes to your character’s survival, so you’ll want to find them as fast as possible.
To help you get started, throughout the guide below, we’re going to reveal all Elden Ring Limgrave Golden Seeds locations; however, to make the whole process easier, make sure that you find the Limgrave Map Fragments so you can see where you’re going. Next, you’ll want to learn how to use these items.
How To Use the Elden Ring Golden Seeds
Regardless of your starting class, Golden Seeds are used to upgrade your Crimson and Cerulean Flasks, allowing you to heal yourself more times before returning to a Site of Grace to fill them up. These Golden Seeds may be found by looking for tiny, yellow trees that glow in the dark. They always have a Golden Seed underneath them.
When you find them, combined with Sacred Tears, you’ll have more chances to replenish your HP or FP meter and receive more out of them. Hence, you’ll also want to check out this Limgrave Sacred Tear locations guide.

After finding a Golden Seed, go to a Site of Grace to improve your character’s Flask. To add a charge to a flask, go to the menu, select Flasks, and add Charge to Flask. The Sacred Flask’s number of uses will be increased by one. The more you upgrade it, the more Golden Seeds you’ll need at each level:
- You need 1 Seed for upgrades increasing to 6 total Flasks.
- You need 2 Seeds for upgrades increasing to 8 total Flasks.
- You need 3 Seeds for upgrades increasing to 10 total Flasks.
- You need 4 Seeds for upgrades increasing to 12 total Flasks.
- You need 5 Seeds for upgrades increasing to 14 total Flasks.
Now, let’s see where you can find all Limgrave Golden Seeds in Elden Ring.
Golden Seed #1
After you pass through the gate of Stormgate, use your horse Torrent to quickly head to the location on my map below without fighting any enemies.

Grab the Golden Seed located at the base of a glowing yellow tree.
Golden Seed #2
One of the 5 Elden Ring Limgrave Golden Seeds is north of the previous one. To get it, head to the location on the map below, and when you get here for the first time, you will meet Roderika.

Exhaust all the dialogues and touch the Stormhill Shack Site of Grace. Leave the area (teleport) to another Site of Grace and return to Stormhill Shack. Roderika will leave a Golden Seed for you in the spot she was before.
Golden Seed #3
Another Golden Seed is on the southeastern coast of Limgrave, close to Fort Haight, a location you’ll visit during the Kenneth Haight Quest explained in this guide.

Specifically, this Golden Seed is to the right of the Forth Haight. To get it, head through the barricade and turn left. The Golden Seed is under a glowing tree out in the field.
Golden Seed #4
The fourth Limgrave Golden See is on a rocky platform on your right, just off the main path to the castle south of the Site of Grace Castle Morne Rampart.

Claim the Golden Seed by climbing up to the platform next to the main path.
Golden Seed #5
The fifth and final Golden Seed is dropped by the Ulcerated Tree Spirit Boss at the bottom of the Fringefolk Hero’s Grave, next to the Stranded Graveyard Site of Grace.

However, to get inside the Fringefolk Hero’s Grave, you’ll need a Stonesword Key to unlock the seal.
