Elden Ring Hallowhorn Grounds are two landmarks in the Siofra River underground area of the video game developed by FromSoftware, and they include two optional bosses you can defeat, provided you know how to reach their realms. The Elden Ring Hallowhorn Grounds bosses, known as Ancestor Spirit and Regal Ancestor Spirit, can be found in remote locations, meaning you won’t find them on your map.

To get to them, you must figure out how to solve the Hallowhorn Grounds puzzles, which involve a series of braziers. Simply put, while exploring both the eastern and western sides of the Siofra River area, you’ll need to look for a total of 14 braziers and light them up.

Where To Find Hallowhorn Grounds

As you can see on the map below, the Hallowhorn Grounds landmarks are found in the two main areas of the Siofra River.

Elden Ring Hollowhorn Grounds Locations

The southern Hallowhorn Ground can be reached whenever you want, meaning that to get to the landmark, all you need to do is take the elevator found northeast of Mistwood Ruins in Limgrave, close to the Minor Erdtree.

Once inside the elevator, you’ll descend to the Siofra River, and your first objective is to get the map fragment. As said, the southern Hallowhorn Grounds is accessible early in the game, while the other one requires some story progression.

Keep in mind that while you can explore this area whenever you see fit, you should consider getting here while playing Ranni’s questline because, inside the ruins, you’ll have to find Blaidd after you finish his questline. So, let’s deal with the southern Hallowhorn Grounds landmark first.

Where To Find the Southern Hollowhorn Grounds Fires

When you approach the southern Hollowhorn Grounds landmark on my map above, you’ll notice a ruined temple and the remains of a creature similar to a stag. By the entrance, on both sides of the stairs leading up, you’ll see eight stone pillars you have to light up.

These pillars are connected to 8 braziers, meaning that by finding and lighting the 8 Hollowhorn Grounds braziers on the southern side of the Siofra River, you’ll also light up the eight pillars. Here is what a Hollowhorn Grounds brazier looks like, and in the distance, you can also see several stone pillars.

Elden Ring Hollowhorn Grounds Braziers Locations

Since the Elden Ring Hollowhorn Grounds fires you have to activate, have fixed locations, and because they are pretty accessible to interact with, all you need to know is where to find them. Therefore, the map below shows all eight braziers on the southern side of the Siofra River.

Elden Ring Hollowhorn Grounds Fires Locations

All you need to do is get close and interact with them while dismounted. If you need additional help, here are several tips regarding the spots you must visit.

Brazier No.Where To Find:
1.In front of the Hallowhorn Grounds southern temple,
close to a stone pillar
2.On the small island guarded by several ghosts
3.On the edge of the mountain
4.By the path in the forest, under the large broken bridge, close to a stone pillar
5.Across the river from the previous brazier, on a small hill
6.On top of a hill overseeing the waterfall
7.On the cliff
8.In a dead-end on a hill

Great, now that you know where to find all braziers, once you light them up, head back to the southern Hollowhorn Grounds, and on top of the temple, you’ll see that a glowing mist surrounds the remains of the creature.

Touch it, and you’ll be teleported to a remote location where you’ll need to defeat the Ancestor Spirit Boss. Once you do this, your reward is the Ancestral Follower Spirit Ashes.

Where To Find the Northern Hollowhorn Grounds Braziers

The northern Elden Ring Hollowhorn Grounds landmark follows the same logic, the only difference being that you need to light only six braziers. Furthermore, you must be aware that this landmark can be reached only after you defeat Starscourge Radahn and gain access to Nokron, Eternal City.

So, first, follow Ranni’s questline, and once you clear Redmmane Castle and defeat Starscourge Radahn, you’ll be able to enter Ancestral Woods. Now, look for the braziers on the map below.

If you can’t find the braziers, check the tips listed below, but keep in mind that all areas are heavily guarded.

Brazier No.Where To Find:
1.By the broken bridge near the edge of the cliff
2.Along the paved road
3.On a hill, also close to the road
4.Behind a large stone pillar
5.Close to the edge of the cliff
6.Inside the ruins

Upon lighting the last brazier, go to the northern Hollowhorn Grounds landmark and touch the animal carcass to be transported to the boss area. Here, you’ll have to defeat the Regal Ancestor Spirit boss, who is more powerful than the previous one.

Once you defeat the second boss, the Elden Ring Hallowhorn Grounds landmarks are cleared, so feel free to continue exploring these locations.
